Hercules Movie - Official TV Spot 2

Far Better than Spot 1

By Robert T. Trate     April 14, 2014

Hercules arrives July 25th, 2014.
The first TV Spot/ Clip for Brett Ratner’s Hercules was a nightmare of editing. This new TV Spot is far better. My one question is, do we really need him to say “I am Hercules”. Despite the heavy CGI effects, this looks like a fun summer flick.

Synopsis: Everyone knows the legend of Hercules and his twelve labors. Our story begins after the labors, and after the legend… Haunted by a sin from his past, Hercules has become a mercenary. Along with five faithful companions, he travelsancient Greece selling his services for gold and using his legendary reputation to intimidate enemies. But when the benevolent ruler of Thrace and his daughter seek Hercules’ help to defeat a savage and terrifying warlord, Hercules finds that in order for good to triumph and justice to prevail… he must again become the hero he once was… he must embrace his own myth… he must be Hercules.
Hercules stars stars Dwayne Johnson, Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, Peter Mullan, John Hurt, Rebecca Ferguson, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Aksel Hennie, Reece Ritchie and Tobias Santelmann. The film is based on the Radical Studios graphic novel "Hercules: The Thracian Wars."

So this movie will have action, CGI monsters, yelling, & ... um ... I don't know. Hopefully an actual story. Nothing about this raises my interest beyond "Redbox it."

That's a whole lot of bacon!

This actually looks pretty good.  They seem to be sticking to the 12 Labors of Hercules... which, if they adhere to even half of the legend, it'll be 1000% better than those "Titans" fiascos.

However the movie is supposed to take place years after the 12 Labours. So perhaps they are told in flashback or something.

did you see the size of that giant lion jump at him ? next scene its alot smaller when He wearing it on  His head ! I think it is based on His 12 labors , one is cleaning out some stable that hasnt been cleaned in years , talk about  manure up to Your ears ......
