*Note: This trailer is not suitable for young audiences.*

Here is the second Red Band Trailer for the Evil Dead. They really don’t pull any punches here. If this trailer is any indiction of what is in store... we’re not going to get many funny moments.

The Plot: Mia (Jane Levy), a young woman struggling with sobriety, heads to a remote cabin with her brother and a group of friends, where the discovery of a Book of the Dead leads to danger and horror.

Evil Dead is directed by Fede Alvarez and stars Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez and Jessica Lucas. The film is written by Sam Raimi (original screenplay)and Fede Alvarez.

Hmm. I'll probably check it out. Looks like it may be a good gory horror flick but I hope they didn't leave "The Hand" out of the movie.  I'd be mad if they leave that out.

I think the ''they don't pull any punches'' trully applies here, this looks interresting.

I dissagree.. I think they'll have the same type of funny moments as the original at times : 0:38, 1:10, 1:30, 1:38, 1:42 1:52, 2:00.  All of those times have the same over the top shock humor Raimi's did.

What I think they are going to do is ramp the actual horror level.  It is very very rare for a movie to scare me, and I watch a lot of horror.  This trailer actually gave me chills..

Evil Dead didn't really have any funny moments. I'm pretty sure you're thinking of Evil Dead 2.

Mr.Jaw my thoughts exactly. I am so looking forward to this.

I'm not a huge fan of Evil Dead as so many here are but I am almost certainly seeing this when it comes out.

That is a disturbing disturbing trailier. It looks like it's adding gore horror and psychological horror togeather very well. I won't see it because I don't have enough modern FX knowledge to kill the illusion enough not to be freaked out by it. Older movies I understood it all, today with combinations of excellent CGI and practical effects it some time fulls my eyes too well and I have a thing about slow cuts and needles.

I think I'm going to be sick!

I enjoyed the originals but I'm not a big fan of torture porn so I probably won't see this.

It's not often that a horror movie gets to me, but that scene where she takes the exacto knife and splits her tounge creeped me the hell out. I look forward to checking out this movie.

The first Evil Dead had no funny moments, it was just horror with lots of gore and blood. This movie seems to follow that line and not the one Evil Dead 2 and 3 followed. Interesting to see Jane Levy in this genre, she looks like she can act it really well, and lets not forget the angry molesting tree.
