Best trailer yet!

Paramount Pictures (via Joblomovienetwork) has posted the third trailer for J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek Into Darkness. It might be the best trailer yet for the film. Feel free to analyze the hell out of what you see here below. After watching this trailer I had to remember a little film called Iron Man 3 that opens a few weeks before it.

The new IMAX poster for Star Trek Into Darkness surfaced last weekend. Check it below as well.

Anyone else already have their tickets for Star Trek Into Darkness?

Synopsis: In Summer 2013, pioneering director J.J. Abrams will deliver an explosive action thriller that takes Star Trek Into Darkness. When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis. With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction. As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.

Star Trek Into Darkness stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, John Cho, Bruce Greenwood, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, Benedict Cumberbatch, Alice Eve and Peter Weller.

Star Trek Into Darkness arrives on May 17th, 2013.

I did notice in one scene that there was a chamber full of cryogenic stasis pods. The villain may not be Kahn per se' but I would not be surprised if there was some kind of connection to Kahn and or the Eugenics Wars.

Between Ironman3 and Star Trek2 they'll be owning the month of May. DC/Warners needs to really to put out a full trailer for Man of Steel. With only two months till the film's release. The other films have been heavily promoted since the beginning of the year. Man of Steel not so much.

Do you mean at the 0:44 mark?  I thought those were burial tubes for all the people killed in Harrison's surprise attack in London.  I didn't get the sense they were any kind of cryotubes.

Oh yeah, I echo all the above sentiments...sweetness. I'm loving this
