Here's some silly 'Dark Knight' sequel gossip floated by Showbiz Spy. The gossip site quotes 'Heroes' star Milo Ventimiglia as saying he'd love to play Robin on the big screen.
"I always thought I would make a great Robin. I would love to be Christian Bale's sidekick in Batman. Even when I was younger I never wanted to be Batman," the actor is quoted as saying. "I have always wanted to be Robin. To this day I still think that would be pretty cool."
The fact that Ventimiglia is too old to play a teen sidekick, fans will recognize that the above quotes are just the actor's musings and the he has no real attachment to the movie. In fact, Warner Bros. hasn't officially agreed to go forward with a sequel yet, although it seems inevitable. The first step will be getting director Christopher Nolan on board.
Until Nolan is in place, any talk of the sequel and which characters may or may not appear, and which actors my or may not play them is strictly specualtion.
