I guess he can't use "What's happening?", I loved Rerun.

I got the feeling from some of the lines in the trailer that Shyamalan's normal penchant for insightful dialogue is fading out. Alan Ruck's line, "There is an event happening," felt so cliched and boring. It could be taken out of context of a larger speech given by his character that is much more interesting, but I am hoping for the best. I think Shyamalan could bounce back to greatness with this film and I am still going to check it out.

Dude, your first mistake was not thinking it was odd that Alan Ruck was in a major motion picture. But honestly, I have no idea what this film is about. The little bit you see in the trailer feels very evocative of the 'pulse' that occurs in Stephen King's book, Cell.

The trailer definitely intrigued me. I've enjoyed all of Shyamalan's films and I"m looking forward to see what he has come up with here.

HA! Very funny, nrollins. In poor Alan's defense, there's no way to know how large of a role his character has in the movie. And what's also odd is that he's not even listed as part of the cast on IMDB.com. Maybe he's reached the point of not even wanting credit in any movie he's in anymore?

This looks like the same stupid crap M. Knight has been putting out lately. There was nothing in that trailer that made me want to see it. I actually thought it was a traielr for I am Legend 2 at the beginning. It has nothing to do with the fact I can't stand the thug, gangster, piece of sh*t, I can't act Mark Wahlberg in the lead roll.

Ever since that magazine article came out calling M. Knight the next Steven Spielberg his movies have been crap. He keeps trying to reinvent the Sixth Sense rather then just making good movies.

I look forward to seeing all of M. Night Yourmamalan's movies... I haven't liked all of them, but I always look forward to see what he has come up with next.

I definitely like what I saw here and I will see this movie in the theatres...

**possible spoiler. I say that because several of my friends are telling me (guessing) that the happening is being caused by the flora. Which sort of makes sense since it was originally titled The Green Effect. Perhaps this is a way for them to even the playing field with the humans and stop them from destroying the planet's vegetation. I'm sure the guessing game will ramp up as the movie approaches.

"an event" huh?...that makes everyone uncontrollably jump off buildings and such? AND Alan Ruck?
AND it's all because of plants being pissed? WOW. M. Night, you've lost it, good sir...you've lost your fucking mind.
