Hodder reveals JASON X fears
By: Christopher Allan Smith and Scott ColluraDate: Friday, April 12, 2002
In an exclusive interview carried in the latest CINESCAPE magazine about the long awaited JASON X, current Jason actor Kane Hodder talked about his trepidation when first hearing writer/director Jim Isaac's idea was to bring the forest resort menacing kill machine into space.
"It takes place a few hundred years in the future, mostly on a spaceship," Hodder told us. "As bizarre as that sounds and believe me, I [reacted] the same way when I first heard the premise. I said, 'Jason in space. Boy, that's kind of scary." And it really worried me, but once I read the script and saw that, fine, the location is different but Jason is the same it just makes it a little more interesting."
