Everyone as that Geek in their life that is always incredibly fun and difficult to shop for. Instead of giving you this list on Black Friday, your Toy Maniac is supplying it now. This way you have plenty of time to search the different sites for items (some provided here) and order them (way in advance before the backorders happen). Here is the Toy Maniac’s Holiday Geek Toy Gift Guide 2011.
Dracula Bela Lugosi Model Kit
Why a purple cape liner and not a red one? Well, this is Mr. Logosi as he was on Broadway. Yes, he portrayed Dracula on stage first. This is a model kit so your Geek will have to build it (order here).
Star Trek Original Series Geological Tricorder
This is an Entertainment Earth Exclusive (order here) which means there is only one place to get it. This is the perfect accessory for the Trekker (that’s Geek in Star Trek terms) in your family who has the costume but needs those finishing touches.
Nerf N-Force Vendetta Double Sword
Who hasn’t already bought their Geek the double bladed Darth Maul Lightsaber? Think they ever really got the chance to fight with it? Your Geek probably didn’t get to because that damn double bladed sword was so expensive. Nerf has provided a great alternative. Now your Geek can attack your kids, his kids, or the nephews. Just make sure you supply them with a few Nerf weapons as well. These are easily purchased at a Toys R Us.
Star Wars Exclusive Jabba the Hutt's Throne Playset
Finally, Hasbro has gone back and redone the original Jabba’s playset. Now your Geek can have Jabba, Oola, and Salacious Crumb the way they were was supposed to be. The last couple of Jabbas have been either been Special Edition or Prequel Versions. This is the way the figure was meant to be rendered.
Doctor Who Eleventh Doctor Sonic Screwdriver
It’s fun. It makes noise. It is the perfect Geek gift for your Doctor Who fan. The only down side is you’ll have to hear that noise as he tries to open every other present with it.
This one could go for the Geek Dad or Geek Grandpa in the house. They are probably sick of Twilight and all that hoopla. What better way to fend off the glistening vampires than an 8 inch bust of Peter Cushing as Van Helsing?
Even if you don’t know your Geek that well, no Geek (I mean no Geek) is going to turn down Godzilla. With a breathtaking 29 points of articulation and mind blowing details, your Geek will be a little kid again when he sees this.
The Joker (1989 Version)

Company: Hot Toys If you truly want to be the ultimate gift giver this holiday season, the Toy Maniac suggests Hot Toys “The Joker”. It would be as if you were giving a miniature Jack Nicholson to your Geek. It doesn’t make any noise, but the echo of that laugh is ever present just by looking at it (order it here).

I picked up the double bladed Nerf sword a couple of months ago, and the kids love it. Of course, they love their entire Nerf arsenal, which is extensive at this point. Katanas, broadswords, mace, battleaxe, hatchet, shield & dagger, and now the double blade. WHY didn't Nerf make this stuff thirty years ago? All we had was Nerf football (Rah! Rah! Rah! Easy to catch and throw!)
