Revolution Studios has signed Ashton Holmes and Emily Blunt to star in WIND CHILL.

The horror thriller centers on two college students sharing a ride home for the holidays whose car breaks down on a deserted stretch of road and who are menaced by the ghosts of all those who died there.

Greg Jacobs will direct from a script by Joe Gangemi and Steven Katz. George Clooney & Steven Soderberg's Section Eight, Blue Print Pictures and Revolution Studios will produce.

When this was announced it immediately sounded like Supernatural to me except for the fact that Supernatural is cool and I doubt that this will be.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like most horror movies are made for kids ages 12-18. That's the way its been since friday the 13th. I'm never impressed by those types of movies. I like scary, but I want the characters to have some brains, and that seems lacking. I stick with suspense with stories you have to solve. Those can still be scary and are more entertaining than horror.
