Lauren German, Heather Matarazzo and Bijou Phillips are all in negotiations to star in the upcoming film HOSTEL 2. Eli Roth will direct the film for Screen Gems.

HOSTEL was released earlier this year and followed three men who end up in a Slovakian hostel which serves as a front for an organization specializing in torture.

HOSTEL 2 will follow three women who, while studying abroad for the summer, learn the grim truth behind the Slovakian hostel and its international counterparts.

German would play a wealthy girl trying to figure out her next step in life, Phillips would be her best friend and Matarazzo will be a tag-along.

I don't know, Bijou Phillips has never been shy about taking her clothes off in films.

Your comments are accurate Ponyboy, Saw 3 is a continuation and conclusion of a story, this movies niether adds or finalizes anything within itself, basically fluff.

Roth produces modern grindhouse movies, which rely much on shock appeal. There's nothing wrong with that, just don't expect much in the way of plot or characterization. The first Hostel had me leaving the theater feeling a bit nauseated, which for me is the mark of an effective movie of this sort. Not a great movie by a longshot, but effective for what it was. I'll probably see the sequel, assuming that it's released during one of Hollywood's slow seasons (which it probably will be). And the answer as to why they are making a sequel: The original cost $4.5M and made $47M in domestic box office alone. How many studios make that sort of profit ratio on a horror movie and still resist making at least one more trip to the well?

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! That was for the movie. The girl is cute. Oh and I agree with Electric Boogaloo for the title. It's sad that we remember that movie.

Does anybody actually remember Electric Boogaloo, or do we just remember the title because it's so darn stupid?

Actually I've never seen it. Just always laughed at the title.

I remember Electric Boogaloo because it was such a disappointment. I mean, Breakin' was pure cinematic genius. They just sold out in Electric Boogaloo -- it was all about cashing in, not the art, man. Plus, they had to get all preachy... I just don't think the magic of Breakin' II needed to be watered down with a heavy social message. Not to mention the fact that 'Shabba-Doo' Quinones really phoned in his performance in the second one. His poppin' and lockin' sequences were tired and unoriginal.

Turbo & Ozone narrowly outclasses Sharkboy and Lavagirl as the Best duo. Dont kid yourself. LOL! I never saw Hostel and dont ever plan on it, as for flicks getting sequels, that concept is as old as Moses, its a non-issue and by non-issue I mean it isnt worth bitching about cause its going to continue whether we like it or not. side-note: Cabin Fever never got a follow-up.
