Just a few weeks after the Taylor Lautner recasting rumors were debunked, another rumor for Twilight's sequel New Moon has been officially taken care courtesy of Entertainment Weekly. The magazine reports that the rumors of High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens are untrue at the moment.
Sources inside Summit Entertainment and Hudgens' camp tell EW that the filmmakers aren't looking at the star (best known as High School Musical's Gabriella Montez) for any role in the soon-to-be-shooting Twilight followup.
The only officially confirmed stars of the upcoming sequel are the returns of Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. More returning stars will likely be announced as we near production for Summit Entertainment. Director Chris Weitz has been tasked with taking over the director's duties that Catherine Hardwicke began on this fall's smash hit Twilight.

To me, she's best known as the girl who stripped off all her clothes and took pictures of herself while starkers and sent them out for everyone (like myself and Jakester) to see.
So when will "Twilight" be on Blu-Ray? I've found no release dates for any home video release (yet).

I checked literally this past Sunday, and www.blu-ray.com didn't have it listed at all, and amazon.com had it ready for pre-order, but gave no date whatsoever.
It was rumored that she was meant to star as Leah Clearwater, quite an indepth and tortured character in the book and to be honest, she would have completely ruined the role. Good riddance
