HULK Footage Finally Shown?

Over the weekend, we had our first look at the new Abomination character (played by Tim Roth) by way of a toy snapshot. Now, it seems as if we're getting our first report of actual footage shown at Germany's Nuremberg Toy Fair from AICN:

It was great to see the first footage of the INCREDIBLE HULK... What we saw looked like the first official trailer. The scene opens with Edward Norton meditating. We see images of a lab, experiments, Banner escaping from the (Russian?) military (led by William Hurt and Tim Roth), running in the streets, kissing Liv Tyler, guns, shooting, more running… The 'trailer' ends with Abomination walking towards Hulk. Remember the end of Rocky III? Apollo Creed wants to hit Rocky in their friendly duel? That's exactly the way the trailer ends. Abomination wants to hit Hulk. Hulk wants to hit Abomination, but before it actually happens the trailer is over. Abomination looks like a Hulk with the Voldemort face from the first Harry Potter movie. A really mean motha. He sure is a great opponent.

There was also footage shown of the upcoming Iron Man movie shown at the event, which was described as the following:

For IRON MAN we saw the scene in which Tony Stark tests his Iron Man suit for the first time (in his garage). Of course this almost goes wrong. He speeds into a tunnel, gets out in the open and flies past a Ferris wheel. A malfunction in his suit makes him go higher and higher, almost leaving the stratosphere and running out of air. Then the suit goes completely dead and Stark falls to the earth. Just in time he manages to get his suit working again, making a mess of the traffic in the streets...

CAN'T WAIT for these two movies! Seriously this summer's slate is incredible. Between Indy, Iron Man, Hulk, and not to mention TDK I'm gonna need a part-time job just to see them. For me personally, Indy & TDK instantly indicate multiple screenings and with everything I've seen of Iron Man it could wind up being an expensive summer.

Waitin' for the trailer... Everything I've seen looks great so far, except the toy pic of the Abomination. But I'll wait for actual images and/or video before making my final judgment.

sounds cool enough but why a reff to Rocky III? is that the one where the two gloves punch into a huge explosion and one glove accidentally falls away?

From the description of the trailer shown in Germany and what's been reported about rebooting the story, it sounds like what was shown was a recap of the Hulk's history to bring viewers up to date without redoing the entire origin story. I think that's a good idea. Comic books do origin recaps all the time when they the issue is a reboot or jumping up point.

Marvel could have a hell of a year if the films are anywhere as good as the positive buzz they're getting; gives me hope that I'll get a good Captain America movie and maybe even an Avengers film before I die.

Mckracken...He is refering to the scene where Rocky and Apollo Creed Spar and they both dance around for a min or two and then they both throw right crosses and just before they hit each other on the chin, the screen goes black, the end...
