According to various interviews with Avi Arad, the Hulk may not be green in the upcoming film, The Incredible Hulk.

"It's a new Hulk," Arad said. "A new direction, new size, new color, new attitude. No, anything that was done before is not in this movie."

When asked specifically about the color, Arad said: "It’s a different shade of green, but the color is not like the old Hulk. And no, there’s no gray Hulk."

"It's a very different kind of Hulk. It's more of a love story. It's a kind of Hulk we loved in the show, so it's more influenced by the show than anything else. It's very human, very touching, and new."

"He’ll be instinctive, like a primal creature," Arad says. "There’s no smarts."

I can understand a "new direction" but why reinvent the wheel. green hulk is like apple pie and baseball. grey would be the only other color i would agree with, cause it is canon.

The show was okay for its time, but I hope that this movie isn't going to actually be like it. I mean its cool if they take the emotional aspects of the show, because it would show Hulk as he was in the first few comics. He is a tragic character. I don`t know about changing the color though. I mean why bother? Its like making Superman black and yellor instead of his red & blue. Crazy man, Crazy!
I would be hoping for at least Mr Fixit grey.

I'm down with a more sympathetic hulk on the run premise like in the old show, but I hope they stick to the comic when it comes to his powers and abilities... I would like a very "Return of the Monster" hulk. As far as the color, the olive green grey that was senn in the Return, is what I'm picturing.

re: "it's human, very touching, very new"

Translation: They're going to do that long slow backward downward fall into the abyss that Alien 3 stole from the death of the incredible Hulk.,Again., aren't they.

I like this "let's pretend the other Hulk movie didn't happen" approach. Very savvy. It's the next best thing to mass public hypnosis.

Sounds kinda sissy to me. The gray hulk would be cool.

The Tv Show was awesome. Good stories, it was 70's so they did the best they could. I enjoyed it. The music was great too.

Edward Norton is perfect for banner and im glad they are going in this new direction. Aside from Eric Bana that last Hulk Movie sucked !

Maybe they're just going with a darker green. The color change is fine with me, because Hulk's been many shades of green over the years. I like the idea of making Hulk more of a primal force and a classic tragic figure. I'm sure the film won't be as simplistic as the beloved 70s show, but I don't mind the premise of Banner always on the move and always living in the shadow of his alter ego.

Well, I guess it's still not clear on what colour it will be but, I guess I'm a bit surprise they want to add so many ''new'' changes. To reduce the size of the hulk, that's good. Everything else, why change it?

Not fully convince....will wait to see it once it's out but, not fully convince.
