After spending a few months in development hell, Warner Bros. has now hired director Louis Leterrier (The Incredible Hulk) to lead the remake of the cult classic Clash of the Titans. The screenplay was penned by Lawrence Kasdan and Travis Beacham. The trade has now green-lit production and the studio will be co-financing and co-producing the film with Thomas Tull's Legendary Pictures. The shoot will incorporate green screen technology much like Zack Snyder and Frank Miller's 300.

Plot Concept: Much like the classic,
Perseus, the son of Zeus, must overcome a series of obstacles to save his beloved Princess Andromeda, including cutting off the serpent-tressed head of Medusa, who can turn a man to stone with a single glance.

Nice....I love the style of 300. I cant wait to see the trailer to this. I hope it comes out good,because this is one of my old time favorite movies. Dont disrespect this classic Louis Leterrier or I will have Hanso kill you.

With Kasdan behind the screenplay, Leterrier directing, and modern day special effects this has all kinds of potential.

Great news, do it justice and maybe we'll finally get our God of War film. Don't piss on Harryhausen's memory.

FUCK THIS SHIT, FUCK THIS SHIT, DID I MENTION FUCK THIS SHIT?

FUCK THE TITANS, GOD OF WAR IS WHERE IT'S AT!! Damn the studios to hell!! Fukin Sony pieces of shit, greenlight God of War already damn it!

300 = $$$$$

Warner gets the idea, they are making Titans to cash in.
300 prequel? might be in the works to cash in also.

God of War? No where in fukin sight cause Sony can't get greenlight it. At least there is God of War 3 coming to PS3, that always helps.

Why is everyone drooling over a god of war movie? It's a video game, and as we know movies based on video games are always top notch. Uwe will probably direct it, and make it oh so craptastic.

I’m, like, the only person in the world that thought the original was completely silly and crap but this is shaping up to be monumental with the talent involved. I went from not giving a rat’s ass to REALLY looking forward to this.

Let's not go overtop calling Terrier a talent. lol.

Bring it.

Oh and hanso, I don't think I'm getting what your trying to say. Are you for or against this movie, and do you or don't you like GOW? JK

Joey, you mean even when you were a kid you still didn't think this was a cool movie? Sure it looks cheesy now, but when in the early 80s this was sweet. Hold on let me add a few more e's, sweeeeeet!
