After spending a few months in development hell, Warner Bros. has now hired director Louis Leterrier (The Incredible Hulk) to lead the remake of the cult classic Clash of the Titans. The screenplay was penned by Lawrence Kasdan and Travis Beacham. The trade has now green-lit production and the studio will be co-financing and co-producing the film with Thomas Tull's Legendary Pictures. The shoot will incorporate green screen technology much like Zack Snyder and Frank Miller's 300.
Plot Concept: Much like the classic, Perseus, the son of Zeus, must overcome a series of obstacles to save his beloved Princess Andromeda, including cutting off the serpent-tressed head of Medusa, who can turn a man to stone with a single glance.
