With the imminent release of 20th Century Fox's ALIEN VS. PREDATOR, McFarlane Toys has a new series of action figures inspired by the film available to fans. The five figure set features three Predator characters seen in the film (Elder Predator, Celtic Predator and Scar Predator) and two Alien creatures (Grid Alien, Battle Alien), with a special limited edition Predator "stealth" figure available exclusively through Musicland stores.
Standing 8 and 1/2-inches tall, the Predator figures have 21 points of articulation and a number of accessories that can be removed or opened, such as their wrist control panels, their shoulder-mounted cannons or their weapons. The figures also come with a base mount and a masked head to achieve the helmeted look that's so in this year on the Predator homeworld.
The Alien figures are also 8 and 1/2-inches tall tall and have 13 points of articulation to them. Accessories include a coffin with facehuggered skeleton (Battle Alien version) and a circular custom base (for the Grid Alien.) Each Alien figure also has a poseable bendy tail.
McFarlane's ALIEN VS. PREDATOR action figures are now shipping to stores and carry a suggested retail price of $11.99.
