Hurd hires HEIGHTS scribe for CORPORATE SPY duty

HULK producer Gale Anne Hurd has tapped screenwriter Erica Beeney to pen the pilot for CORPORATE SPY, a proposed new TV series. Beeney wrote THE BATTLE OF SHAKER HEIGHTS, the script that won the screenplay competition in the second Project Greenlight contest.

CORPORATE SPY is about a young woman who starts to patch her broken relationship to her Mom, only to find out Mumsie is really a spy. Daughter soon becomes Mom's protege. Cool, so it's like THE GILMORE GIRLS meets ALIAS, huh?

Hurd's Valhalla Television arm will work on the project for Viacom Productions. It's still way too early in the project's existance for a network to be named, or for acting talent to be attached just yet.
