Who knew that after nearly 200 years of wandering, that a stitched together monstrosity could still turn out to be so damn hunk-y? If he actually LOOKED like The Monster, i'd be inclined to look forward to this, but Aaron Eckhart with a few facial scars is still just Aaron Eckhart. Now De Niro, THAT was a Monster.

they had to stich his face back on after The Dark Knight...

 Vigilant gargoyles...ferocious demons...this ain't Mary Shelley's Frankenstein...I find that intriguing

Tom Berenger in Platoon looked more like the Monster - I'll pass on this version with Aaron E as the monster and the Gargoyles too.
Sooner watch Frankensteins Army.

I don't think that in the book he looks the way you think he looks. I'm pretty sure he still looked human.

In the book he was described as hideous. Around 8 feet tall, pale yellowish skin that was stretched too tight over his body so that you could see the muscle fibers and veins. It was why he was shunned and hounded, despite be very intelligent.

But this is just another of the numerous interpretations of the book. It's public domain so there have been a million ways people have used to character for their story purposes. The writer and creator of this version, Kevin Grevioux (the big black guy with the deep voice from the first Underworld movie) just came up with his own.

almostunbiased 7/16/2013 7:07:25 AM

that doesn't sound human

In 1831 a pic representing what he looked like was drawn and supposedly Luke Goss' Frankenstein represented that more than anyone. And that this isn't too far from that.
