Lionsgate Live has released the first official clip from I, Frankenstein. I like the actors involved here, but it seems incredibly cheesy. Does anyone have much hope for I, Frankenstein?
Plot Synopsis: I, Frankenstein is a modern-day epic: Frankenstein’s creature, ADAM (Aaron Eckhart), has survived to present day due to a genetic quirk in his creation. Making his way to a dark, gothic metropolis, he finds himself caught in an all-out, centuries old war between two immortal clans.I, Frankenstein is based on a graphic novel from Kevin Grevioux (Underworld) and stars Aaron Eckhart Bill Nighy, Yvonne Strahovski, Miranda Otto, and Socratis Otto. Stuart Beattie (Tomorrow, When the War Began) is directing.
I, Frankenstein arrives January 24th, 2014.

Lionsgate had some folks hyping it at an event in LA.  Had a really nice monitor to show off the clips.  Only problem was that the better the monitor (screen) the more things looked like cut screens from a video game.  Some of the stuff looked fun, but there was a lacking touch of "real".  Mismatched lighting was the biggest problem.  I likes me some Eckhart... but I may hold off a bit on this one.

I'm thinking this one should've been released straight to the Walmart $5 bin.

That scene wasn't what I would have picked to release as a first look.

This movie makes the new Hercules movie seem like Academy award winning fare.

DarthBob is on point.  I feel sad for Aaron Eckhart.  Did the mofo owe someone money?

This just looks so supremely bad.  This and Hecules look to be just a touch above SyFy standards.  Though, at least SyFy has realized what it is and ran with it and churned out crap that's at least so bad it's entertaining.  I agree.  What the hell was Eckhart thinking?  He's had a pretty good career going up until now.

VTGamehendge, I know you can't wait for the epic sequel. It'll be like the Batman/Superman movie but with Frankenstein and Hercules!

You might be onto something, monkeyfoot.  Could be box office gold.

Two negatives make a positive, right?  Maybe as a tag-team they could achieve something akin to critical mass and really blow us away.
