The latest creation from TidalWave Studios, ATLAS, will be featured as a three-part back-up story beginning in Image Comics' 10th MUSE #7.
"We are gearing up to start a superhero group called The Odyssey," said Darren G. Davis, president of TidalWave Studios. "They will be introduced in the 10th MUSE #10. The core roster for it will be the 10th Muse, Atlas, Isis, Orion the Hunter and Trident. There will also be some random characters from the Image Central Universe making an appearance as well."
ATLAS is a tragic story of a lone God who fights boredom on Mt. Olympus.
Monitoring the earth from above, Atlas views its superheroes donning their capes and tights. Growing restless while craving adventure Atlas decides to take the world in his hands and becomes one of the earth's newest heroes.
ATLAS will be written by Marv Wolfman, with pencils by Mark Brooks.
"We want to give the consumers something more than the 22-page story," Davis said. "I am trying to fill our books with cool and new things, like ATLAS. I was a big fan of what DC used to do in BATMAN with follow-up stories, like GREEN ARROW and BATGIRL."
