Cap's shield in IronMan

That's clearly Cap's shield. You get a better view in the movie itself if you pay attention. Now we'll just have to wait and see if they're going to use this to connect it to Cap's film in the future.

Dude! Good catch. Favreau is the man!

Sweet! Favreau *is* the man! So many things he threw in there for the hardcore fans. And something like this is just in the background and wouldn't affect a casual viewer's movie experience. I say again: Sweet!

I read it on another site, so I can't take credit for it. But of course this gave me enough reason to go see IronMan for the umpteenth time because the still wasn't enough for me. And sure enough there it is in all its glory, well not really as it appears that Tony is working on it. If anyone decides to check it out again is where Tony tells Pepper that she's caught him doing worse things, when the camera turns to Pepper on the left side of the screen atop his work bench there it is. You can clearly tell is the shield. Now wether or not that's used in the future remains to be seen. If it is it'll be a departure from its origins (where the shield was awarded to him by the President during WW2) but one that could make sense. Tony could be making it for himself and later gives it to Cap or maybe he's making it for SHIELD via the DoD. Anyway I geeked out all over again after I found this out and saw it.
