Description:
(Alleged -Ed) photo of The Joker from Nolan's Batman Begins film sequel: The Dark Knight (due 2008). For history of photo surf over to here:
Nah, he put his makeup on better. Is it just me,or this necesary? The clown from IT scared the crap out of me. No need for facial scaring and badly placed on clown makeup. Just me maybe. But, that was what was so shocking about the Joker. He looked like a child's birthday clown, but he was very, very deadly. Not Nicholson campy, but a true sociopath. That, to me, is more scarey than this Exorcist inspired pic.
Just curious...why are the film interpretations in the Batman series always so far from the comics for the Batman villians? They always seem to have to be deformed or more associated to the TV series. I thought the Joker was easy...straight forward...we shall see, but it doesn't appear to be the direction they are going.
You know, just watched PL and the cut on the face of the villian looked like a nice Joker mouth. Maybe they will go with this effect....do away with the scars and leave it able to open to the full extent.
I think you nailed it Cappy, imo this is an early shot of Joker in the movie, I'd bet later during his disturbing Joker incept scene, he's going to smile wide and RIP those sutures at the corners of his mouth wide open, leaving his "lips" to extend deep into his cheeks.
Admittedly just a guess, but I can envision that scene from that photo (following the red around his mouth) and all I can say is, Oh Hell YEAH, I can't wait.
