The Review!
The folks at ELF are back with another title that uses blackmail as its main weapon and tries to blur the line between consensual and non-consensual.

For our primary viewing session, we listened to this disc in its original language of Japanese. Being a standard hentai series based in the real world, there's little here beyond the usual sounds, which means little in the way of directionality in either the forward soundstage or anything going to the rears. Dialogue is nice and clear however and the music sounds good, filling up the entire area.

NuTech continues to release some of the most absolutely stunning looking anime discs I've seen. Colors are beautiful, cross coloration non-existant, backgrounds perfectly solid and no hints of macroblocking at all. The quality of the source materials is magnified by the one episode per disc way of doing things, and it really truly shows here. These three discs are among some of the best anime shows I've seen encoded.

The three keepcases for Immoral Sisters in the box have some decent covers, each one featuring the two daughters in various compromising positions. The covers do look great with good looking colors and character poses, though, the uncensored and adults only logos as well as the inclusion of the voice actresses pictures make it feel somewhat crowded. The back covers show off some animation shots from each show and have a good summary of each episode. Features and technical information is nicely listed as well. The box set itself features the the cover art from the third volume while the back does a summation of the three keepcase backings. As with all NuTech releases to date, there is no insert included.

With each release, I have to say that these guys are getting better and better and providing some really slick looking themed menus. With the loss of virginity being one of the themes here, we find the menu layered in roses with falling petals as well as the two daughters holding each other, with CG animation of their arms moving each others clothes up and off a bit. Playing along with some light and almost uplifting music while parts of the show play in the background, you've got a solid set of menus. Submenus use the same designs but with different music and different characters. Access times are nice and fast and moving around is easy. Language selection in particular is very easy to make sure you've got set right.

There's the usual array of photo galleries here. The anime related one runs about two minutes with the ending song playing and shows a variety of still shots from the show. The other two are ones related to the name voice actresses lending their talents here.

Ah, familiar territory again from the ELF folks. Immoral Sisters is an interesting story, though I found myself being much more interested in the mother than the daughters. Maybe my age is starting to show.

The story doesn't have exactly a main focus for characters, though you could consider the daughters to be them. We're introduced to Taketo, a rougish young man whose desire for cute blonde named Yumi is denied because she ends up going to work for his father. His father has plans for her as a private secretary, but you know that he's just going to twist her nicely to his own desires. Taketo knows this as well and vows to outdo him, to show him what he can do and earn his respect.

So Taketo engineers a car accident to happen between him and a housewife named Yukie. Yukie's husband is out of the country on business for an extended length of time, so she's unable to pay the 200,000 yen that Taketo claims for damages. To settle out of court, she agrees to do anything Taketo asks. And so Taketo begins his conquest of her and to bring her to his ways.

It's also around this time that Taketo's father, whose apparently also the school chairman in addition to the owner/president of Nogawa Industries, begins to take advantage of Yukie's two daughters by having his private secretary warm them up much as he did to her years ago. Through various setups, Yumi gets each of the daughters into the chairmans hands. The girls find out what's happened to their mother in the agreement that she signed, so they end up participating to try and lessen things on her.

There's a number of sequences throughout the three episodes and a number of them work quite well. You get some of your usual fetishes taken care of nicely here but without some of the nastier aspects seen in a previous release called Blackmail. It's also worthwhile to watch the entire ending sequence with the various pictures and panning around the group on the bed as it's beautifully drawn and very stylistically done.

Immoral Sisters isn't one of the best hentai series I've seen, but outside of some of the blurry areas, was a decent show with great production values. Gorgeous animation and great character designs makes this an easy one to check out if you've enjoyed other NuTech releases.
