THQ has now shipped to stores its video game adaptation of THE INCREDIBLES, the new Pixar Animation film presented by Walt Disney Pictures. The game will be out on store shelves this week and available for PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, Game Boy Advance and PC/Mac computer systems.
This is the second video game that THQ has made based on a Pixar movie, after 2003's FINDING NEMO game became a bestseller for the game company. In THE INCREDIBLES game, players take control of the movie's assortment of heroes ranging from parents Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl and their two children, Dash and Violet. The game revisits key moments from the movie, incorporating the film's comedy and action sequences to provide for 18 different levels of amusement.
As well, THQ has a different game available for the PC/Mac playing crowd, THE INCREDIBLES: WHEN DANGER CALLS. Aimed at younger gamers, this title features an assortment of mini-games inspired by the film.
The PS2, Xbox and GameCube console versions of THE INCREDIBLES has been given a Teen rating by the ESRB and retails for $39.99 while the Game Boy Advance version retails for $29.99.
