It's no small secret that the production for INDIANA JONES 4 has had some hiccups relating to leaks and prying eyes. Quite a lot of people are looking to spoil the film's storyline at any given chance. Just last week, an extra from the movie leaked plot details to his Oklahoma hometown newspaper Edmund Sun (which has been removed). Now, the Paramount production has experienced a robbery much like the one Francis Ford Coppola felt late last week in his Argentina office. Variety is reporting that computers, photographs and proprietary information were stolen from the production.

Steven Spielberg can't comment on the situation because of an ongoing law enforcement investigation.

INDIANA JONES 4 hits theaters May 22, 2008.

hey so I just picked this up on DVD today and....oops.

The plot is out...shia's lame mustache has the power to destroy the movie and quite possible the world as we know it. The climactic scene will involve a touching father son moment about shaving.

I really don't care for the "Indy's son" aspect of this film. Furthermore I really really don't care for Shia LaDouche. Nothing personal, I just don't see what all the hype around him is about.

I don`t understand all the animosity going on against Shia. The dude is a good up and coming actor. He`s not an asshole or full of himself. I just don`t get it. If he couldn`t act, I would understand the hate, but people just don`t like him for no reason. Its pretty stupid.
To me it makes sense that Indy has a son. The thing is they haven`t actually came out and said that its his son. Shia is playing Marion`s son.

I'm not a big fan of Indy having a son either, but that's just because I want the focus and the action to stay on Harrison. I don't care how old he is, I want to see him bust up some Nazis (or I guess Russians this time). Hopefully this movie will take the Star Trek II approach where the aging action hero meets his grown son who he neglected because he was too busy with his adventures, and the son followed his own path, trying to avoid becoming like his father...

I don't see any of this as a problem. The so-called spoiler information is just story set-up...which I see as no more than prologue material--however, the guts of the story have not been leaked.

Spielberg's faux anger over the so-called leak, is just that...phony!!! Trust me...he is pleased as punch that he is getting all this good press. It almost seems like a staged publicity stunt.

As for Shia LaBeouf...he is a good actor, so I find this to be Spielberg's way of better relating to his own first born Max Spielberg...who suspeciously...is about the same age a Shia--as well, the age difference between father and son should be the same as Indy and his kid.

I still want Shia to play Dave Gahan (Gone), lead singer of Depeche Mode, in a movie about the group. He's a dead ringer for Gahan...and speaking of fathers and sons...he could easily be his kid. Besides, there is a real story there, especially concerning Gahan becoming a drug addict who O.D.'d twice...successfully dying and being brought back to life each time...all on separate occasions. He said his experiences scared him straight.

PS--I'm going to marry Karen Allen someday. She is so hot!!!

I could have a complete description of the movie and it wouldn't be ruined for me. Nothing replaces actually seeing a movie on the big screen. Can't wait for another Indiana Jones adventure. I think Shia's an excellent young actor and I like the kid storyline for the movie. I think we'll have a lot of Indy looking back on his life and dealing with things between the action sequences.

Actually a lot of key plot points were leaked by said actor. Spielberg has promised this person will never act again. Not only that but all of the scenes with the actor are being cut from the film. One of the hottest films next year being leaked? I wouldn't be happy if I were him either...

Who cares what's leaked? Most of us are going to go see this no matter what. If you want to be surprised by movies, any movie, you shouldn't be visiting any website that caters to movie fans or entertainment in general.

Homer walking out of theater and exclaiming loudly in a future Simpsons episode: "Who would've thought Indiana was really Shia LaBeouf's father!"

Enough of this leak talk. Time for me to take a leak...
