What is taking this bird so long to get off the ground? Ford will be dead by the time they have this finished. They should just find a younger actor and do some sort of prequel story. I find it hard though to top find the holy grail or the ark of watchmacallit. I don't think we'll ever know.

New titles for the film... Indiana Jones and the Flask of Pepto Bismol... Or Indiana Jones and the Quest for a Hip Replacement... They should really have either stopped at the third or did the 4th when the actors wernt considering retirement or just too old... Oh heres another... Indiana Jones and the Wheelchair of Doom... I never said I was original...

Im sorry but i dont care how old Harrison Ford gets, makeup can do magic and remember, they only film one scene at a time. and secondly my wife just commented that no matter how old Ford gets, hes still damn sexy.

did i read this right? EWAN Harrison Ford???? His first name is Ewan? Anyway, i think it is 20 years too late for this one.. but i will watch it anyway because i like all the indy movies. Do not know why they waited so long to make number 4!

The script takes place in the 1950s. From Indiana Jones' earlier adventures against the Nazis (remember that Hitler was born in 1899) Harrison Ford is precisely the right age to play this role. So what's the problem? Oh, and there's also the small issue of Ford's enormous talent and charisma. I couldn't imagine anyone else in this role. You still think he's too old for this role? Fine, then stay home and play with your toys. There's a real man on the screen.

I have to agree with popa. Harrison Ford's character will have aged a good bit, but his whit and intellect will have aged right along with the rest of him. Someday, when us young-uns are old and grey, there maybe more Indy stories to tell with a new actor. But as long as Ford is alive, there will be a huge fan base to watch him fight the forces of evil...even if it's depends.
