What They Say
Here's the first DVD volume of popular TV anime show "Inuyasha" from Rumiko Takahashi. Produced by Sunrise Studios (Gundam), by blending the traditional cell animation techniques and the latest in digital technology. This volume contains episodes 1 & 2.

The Review!
Inuyasha is Rumiko Takahashi's latest manga work. It started to broadcast from 2000 to now. The series is very popular by its amusing characters funny, adventurous story. The first volume released in May of 2001 and it was worth buying even though you AIN'T obsessed with this series.

Perfect. Crisp, clear Dolby Digital sound. No doubt about it.

One of the BEST quality I've seen!!!! All the animation was so smooth, the line, color, CG, everything. The DVD quality was 10 times better than the TV broadcast. The quality is superb!!! I think this quality will beat the future R1 release in US, it has to be!

I was expecting a more stylish DVD cover art. But it shows Inuyasha and Kagome on the cover with their serious faces. The DVD cover looks like it's a manga or magazine's front cover, and most R2 DVD has cool pose of all the main character. But oh well......... There is only one ad paper inside, which talks about future Inuyasha model kit release. The DVD has a picture of manga version of Inuyasha on it, which is pretty nice.

Very nicely done. The menu background is the front DVD cover, which has Inuyasha and Kagome in it. It has selections of play, chapters, and extra.

I wasn't expecting any extra on any other TV-series DVDs. But this DVD has extras, and I was really happy with that. It has extra of character design arts of all the characters from episode 1 and 2. It also has 2 commercials about Shounen Sunday magazine and future Inuyasha movie release.

I was happy to own this DVD. Awesome quality video and audio, and decent amount of extra. You gotta buy it if you liked the Inuyasha TV-series. Very cool show and still going on in Japan right now. I'm expecting a whole lot more in Inuyasha movie in DVD, which will have ch.5.1 or DTS(maybe)
