Good. The more time between start of production and release the better I feel. No need to rush it if possible.

I have gone back and forth depending on the rumors of what the film will be like. Of course I'd love to see the Mandarin but I can also see them holding out for an Avengers sequel. So I'm back to hoping that it'll be Ghost or the Maggia since it has been hinted that espionage will be involved.
 

 I just read the "Iron man - Extremis" graphic novel and would love to see this type of storyline done. I doubt that it would. But seeing as the Avengers film isn't about a type of Iron man tech rip off villain, a different type of bad guy could always be introduced a bit more easily for I.M3. Yes I agree about rushing the flick, it almost seems like all these films are just being churned out for the sake of cold hard cash now and the quality I'm sure will could drop dramatically. I hope I'm wrong of course.

On a side note I just downloaded my tickets for the super comic con in London with Stan Lee! Can't wait to go!

Ya, as long as it's not another robot on robot action, ill be happy. I just got enough of that from Real Steel last night. It was... Aight....

I don't care what the plot is, as long as Marvel keeps the quality of their movies that the standard they have already set.  There is no reason to think that they won't, so I'm looking forward to it.  (Would love to see the Huk and the Hulk Buster armor, even if it is just a cameo.)

Now that Avengers is upon us, it will be interesting to see the direction that these movies take.  Most of the Marvel movies to date have been building towards the Avengers.  Now that it is here, what's next??? (Guess there is always Avengers 2).

And here's a terrible thought.  How much longer until some of these stars step away from these roles?  I love RDJ as Iron Man, but can't see him doing movie after movie after movie after movie in the armor...

I think RDJ was originally signed for 3 movies and The Avengers so his contract will be up after IM3. I imagine it will depends on how well he gets paid and how good a time he's having working for Marvel for him to re- sign.

 RDJ's performance in the Iron man films will surely be hard to beat if somebody was ever to take over from him, but I really can't see him being tied to both Iron man and Sherlock franchises forever.Sherlock 3 has just been given the green light I've read.

RDJ IS Iron Man! I believe Marvel has done a AWESOME job on all the movies! I would believe it would depend on what the Hulk is like in the Avengers movie. Will he be fighting as a member of the team just be rampaging all over? If he is a member it would be hard to make him a threat in the next Ironman movie unless his mind is taken over.

The Iron Man series has been Marvel biggest series of movies and I doubt Marvel will want them to stop after just 3. With that said, Iron Man doesn't have any well-known villains...calm down fan-boys, what I mean is well-known villains to the general public. The Mandarin is the most well-known of course, but if they go with him then perhaps the movie should be split into 2 movies...shot simultaneously maybe. Ah one can dream can't they? 

As for Iron Man's role in a future Avengers movie... Secret Wars anyone? Dreams do come true and mine is for Marvel Studios to reclaim the FF, X-Men and Spider-Man franchises. Heck, I would love to see an animated Secret Wars or Infinity Wars. The voice actor list would be insane!

 Since the Avengers is coming out this year, hopefully other Avengers or Marvel characters make cameo appearances in IM3 and other Marvel movies due to come out.

 Damn, this guy is eventually going to burn out between Iron Man and Sherlock.  Maybe they are his new choice of drugs.
