Oh yes... I'll be owning this one... There is a lot of debate over which film really owned the summer (Ironman or Batman). My money is on Ironman. Don't get me wrong TDK was fine, but they are different animals and i had a lot more fun watching Ironman.

Maybe this will be the disk to break my blu-ray cherry with. Need to start changing over soon anyway to keep up with the Joneses.

Gettin the Blu Ray version but I gotta fix my PS3 first. Sony chargin me $150 to fix it,damn! By the way, never buy any Gamestop guarantee, I thought the extended warranty kicked in after Sony's warranty was expired but it didn't. It starts the same day you buy the system so basically they charge you for something Sony gives you for free. Fuck GameStop.

Iron Man was a good movie, but it WAS NOT better than TDK, in my opinion
joeybaloney 7/22/2008 6:57:47 AM
I'll give that Iron Man was more fun but you are right mm999, they are two completely different animals and I think TDK was a better film and will certainly rule the BO.

And I look forward to owning Iron Man!!

The Ladies Man knows what's up! Hey Leon you got your Courvoisier? I too look forward to owning Iron Man. I thought it was great! My only knock is that it stole Robocop 2's ending. Which is kinda lame.

Iron Man not being better than The Dark Knight is not an opinion, it is an undeniable FACT!

That's blasphemy baloney! Ain't nothing more fun than seeing the Bat take on Joker.

Anyway, you all need to stop bringing up Iron Man and TDK. Iron Man might be Lebron James or whoever else you prefer but The Dark Knight is his Airness, Michael Jordan. No use in debating the truth.

Everything that came before 7/18 were failed attempts. Everything that comes after are just pretenders to The Dark Knight's throne.

You know Favreu took notes down when he sat down to watch TDK. Wouldn't be surprised if he turned Iron Man 2 into an alcoholic drama. I think Kevin Spacey in Seven said it best: "A Hulk... so ugly on the inside he couldn't bear to go on living if he couldn't be beautiful on the outside. A weapons dealer, a weapon dealing pederast, actually! And let's not forget the disease-spreading Hancock! Only in a world this shitty could you even try to say these were good comic book movies and keep a straight face. But that's the point. We see a comic book movie on every street corner, in every home, and we tolerate it. We tolerate it because it's common, it's trivial. We tolerate it morning, noon, and night. Well, not anymore. Nolan is setting the example. What he's done is going to be puzzled over and studied and followed... forever."

joeybaloney 7/22/2008 8:31:01 AM
LOL hanso! That is the truth and nothing but! All that we know has changed.
