'Iron Man' is golden, according to today's Hollywood Reporter. Marvel's first film continues to impress, with a statistical certainty that it'll pass the $300 million mark at the U.S. box office today, making it the first film to do so in 2008.
The movie came close by Tuesday, having fired up some $299.3 million in receipts. It's logging about $680k per day which means if it didn't hit the mark yesterday, then it certainly will today, some 51 days after its release.
