It was originally leaked that IRON MAN would be finishing its filming stages of production by Wednesday in Vegas. It looks like they finished earlier than expected. Director Jon Favreau posted the announcement earlier in the night as well as throwing out the news of another cameo in it.
Director Jon Favreau on his Myspace: Principal photography ended with a huge bang as we filmed the final scenes of Iron Man in Caesar's Palace. As many of you already know, gambling is a casino's top priority. A production can not interfere with their cash cow. As a result, movies must shoot during the dead hours, no matter if it's Swingers or Rain Man. We were given a window of midnight to one the next afternoon to do all of our work. Part of our strategy to prepare for these ungodly hours was to stay up as late as possible the night before and sleep as late as possible. I did half the plan. The wrong half. I stayed out until 7AM and then woke up four hours later. After motoring through the delerium of a sleepless shooting marathon, I am proud to report that we have handily completed our movie on time and on budget. What a great way to end.
I would also like to thank Ceasars for their hospitality, generosity, and Swank accomodations.
Looks like he wasn't ready to confirm Samuel L. Jackson's "role" in the film as of yet. Now, the post production begins for them.

Funny, I remember at one point, Favreau wanted to do a sequel to Swingers, which ultimately became MADE (released in 2001, co-starred & co-produced by Vince Vaughn, to lukewarm reviews and quickly went to DVD within a couple months), which had nothing to do with SWINGERS, other than Favreau & Vaughn starring and playing different characters. Then again, to quote Favreau of the reason for not making a sequel to swingers, "Who wants to pay $9 bucks a ticket to see a bunch of guys in their mid-thirties, still wearing those hipster clothing, still hittin' the clubs, and looking for love?"
Besides, that's been done, think: SEX AND THE CITY...Alot better, decent chicks to look at...At the time.
Okay, I'm off this subject! LOL
I can't wait for IRON MAN!
