The THEM List

By nature, Hollywood is about power in front of and behind the scenes. It's a very elite few who make it on those lists and an even more select group that ever crack the very top. Of course, many of them would have never got there without some help from the fictional genre universe. Genre movies are huge and if you look at Top Ten All Time Boxoffice Champs, eight of them are genre films. And what made those films so successful were the longevity of the characters themselves. Hence, CINESCAPE has created our first annual THEM list, ranking the 50 most powerful characters in genre entertainment. It was a monumental task narrowing everything down, but sooner or later someone had to do it.
