Ivana Baquero joins "The New Daughter"

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Ivana Baquero has signed on to star in the upcoming film, The New Daughter.
The film, written by John Travis and based on a short story from John Connolly, follows a single dad who has moved his two children to a remote farm where a strange mound in the surrounding fields appears to be the key to his daughter's increasingly ominous behavior.
This will be Baquero's first English role. She is currently best known for her work in Pan's Labyrinth.
