Good point HarryTuttle, when that happens I'll put Billy Dee is back as Lando!

John Williams was featured at the Young Musicians Foundation recently where he performed some of his classic soundtrack scores. Before Williams was about to perform a few Star Wars pieces he had this to say:
“We’re about to play Star Wars [audience interrupts with cheers] and each time we play it, I’m reminded of the first time we played it decades ago. Neither I, nor George, nor anyone else involved thought this would go far or in a few years there would be a sequel and I’d have to revisit the themes…and years later another trilogy. Now we’re hearing of a new set of movies coming in 2015, 2016…so I need to make sure I’m still ready to go in a few years for what I hope would be continued work with George…[more cheers].” - off of the John William's Fan Message Board
It is difficult to image anyone else composing a Star Wars score. His addition to the crew, though not official, is a no brainer. Star Wars needs John Williams, as much as Superman needs him to fly.

Sweet. it would not be the same without him. William's is the best composer for movies in all of history IMHO.
Oh come on, nobody wants to hear him in another Star Wars movie...he's just too old.
@SarcasticCaveman - ZING!!! ROFL Yeah, all of the are "too old". F*cking age discrimination I tell you....
I once had a pre-Episode 1 nightmare (this is 100% true, by the way), that the lightsaber battles in Phantom Menace were set to an instrumental version of Motley Crue's "Dr. Feelgood"...I had recently seen the first preview, and my alarm radio was going off, but still...truly terrifying. LOL
Thank goodness. As much as I like much of Danny Elfman's scores I had a bad feeling that Family Guy may have procoged the unthinkable.
I would bring the fact that the score for the The Clone Wars cartoon movie and TV show is excellent. Of course JW should be the first pick but if he said he couldn't or doesn't want to, there is possible choices to continue what was greatly established.
Oh wow, well yes, John Williams makes sense. I read the headline and thought the article was referring to Billy Dee...
