A recent update on Sammo Hung's website indicates that the production of the video-game based
SOUL CALIBUR movie has been pushed back to next year.The movie version of
SOUL CALIBUR video game developed by Namco, and a hit in the arcades and on the Sega Dreamcast, was originally supposed to begin production later this year. The main problem with this could be rumored star Jackie Chan. The producers have been courting Chan to star in this film, but his schedule has left him with little free time for the remaining year, as he has just began filming his newest film HIGHBINDER.The film is currently on schedule for a release in the summer of 2003.
