In interviews hyping this week's release of STAR WARS: EPISODE II - ATTACK OF THE CLONES, Samuel L. Jackson revealed the secrets to George Lucas' "new" process for making films -- a process developed during the shooting of his prequel trilogy.
While Lucas has sketched out the technology needed (CGI sets, characters, and high-end digital cameras) for a director to create a film "like a painter paints a painting," this is among the first times an actor revealed what it is really like working under such conditions.
While talking to the CHICAGO SUN TIMES, Jackson revealed, "The deal is George Lucas gets the film, looks at it and finds small things that will make the fit better. You go back to shoot what he calls ligaments. It's about connecting -- adding words here or put me in a battle scene there."
