Just GIT R DONE damn it

With MGM's financial trouble/status still holding up The Hobbit and its sequel, it feels like we should do a moratorium on any rumors regarding it until that's worked out. But this latest bit is straight from executive producer (and possible director) Peter Jackson. His latest update is to the New Zealand based Stuff.co.nz, with Jackson telling you fans that you will know whether or not he's committed to directing it "sometime soon."
A decision was still to be made on whether he would direct The Hobbit, which is in limbo while problems are resolved with Warner Bros and MGM, which is heavily in debt and up for sale.
But he said yesterday that Warner Bros was "making progress untangling the MGM situation, so we should have certainty with The Hobbit sometime soon".
He is also confident that there should soon be certainty about whether he would direct The Hobbit movie, which would allow him to map out a five-year plan for projects "that will keep many people very busy".
Geez, the production on this is slow as some of those gay hobbit scenes from ROTK.
I damn you do hell MGM. >:( You have stolen the best of them all from us!!! At least for now. I just hope McKellen does not die or some sh*t on us all. :( He is getting kind of old. All I know is that he is the one and TRUE Gandalf!
@DarthoftheDead - You sir have won 10 Internet for today! :D
5 year plan to keep people busy?
Sooooo........I'm I wrong in assuming it's gonna take 5 years til we get to actually watch this thing?
Not to sound like a fanboy w/ no life, but this this bullshit over the hobbit is the only reason why i care about the mgm money. Seriously, I dont care about Bond or any other franchises, but if they fuck this up, im going to be extremely pissed
Starlight's HOBBIT plans:
1. make the damned movies!
2. make them at least as good as the Rings trilogy
3. raise capital by having Hanso...uh...seduce Chris Nolan (and WB)...for profit
you can do it hanso! just imagine it's Megan Fox or Bruce Wayne at appropriate times!
