JAKE 2.0 gets zeroed

Network cancels series; save the show campaign is launched

Production on UPN's JAKE 2.0 has been halted, Variety is reporting in today's issue, and that the program has been pulled from the network's schedule. Instead, repeat episodes of AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL will now air in JAKE's Wednesday 9:00 PM slot. Even though the series was picked up for a full season's worth of episodes, the broadcast of the new shows (of which at least four are known to be in the can) are now in doubt.

According to LJC who runs the J2.0 Fans website, the show's cancellation was conveyed to the stars and crew yesterday. Production will continue until the completion of episode 16 and then will end.
