James Cameron HANGING At Revolution

In spite of his first-look deal with 20th Century Fox, James Cameron's Lightstorm Entertainment is part of a deal to produce a film called THE HANGING TALE for Revolution Studios.
Revolution snagged the pitch by Danny Rubin (GROUNDHOG DAY) as a producing vehicle for Lightstorm. The project, which is described as a comedy-adventure, will tell the old west story of is about to be hung due to a petty crime. While he waits, he tells those who have come to see him get strung up a story about his quest to find Spanish gold treasures.
Cameron, Jon Landau and Rae Sanchini will produce the film, with Tom Sherak and Todd Garner taking executive producer creds.
