Don't know if this will be any good or not, but it's good to see Julia Ormond again. What happened to her? Last movie I saw her in was Smilia's Sense of Snow back in 97 or 98.

Yeah, it's been almost a decade. It'll be nice to see her again. I've got a soft spot for Pullman, too. It's good to see him still working.

Bill Pullman is this generation's William Shatner. I just can't take him seriously in anything I've ever seen him in.

As for Ormond, she could've made a great Bond girl in her day, but since she essentially disappeared for the last several years she won't work as one anymore.

The movie sounds stale as hell though. I will pass on this one.

Very vague, but I've always liked Julia Ormond.

I loved this film when it was called "Twin Peaks." Written and directed by different Lynch.

So I presume this will be a madcap comedy, given the supporting cast are all comedians?

"This generation's William Shatner"? Following your logic that would make Jim Carrey the poor man's Tom Hanks. Strangest thing...

I meant he's this generation's Shatner because any time I've ever seen Pullman in a movie he sounds like Shatner on classic Star Trek. I can't take him seriously. If Pullman's involved in a project I lose interest automatically.

You mean you weren't blown away by his performance in Mr. Wrong? To me, pretending to be in love with Ellen is the best acting job of all time.

This generation's Shatner... hardly. His delivery is nothing like Shatner's, which would be the primary basis for comparison. I suppose Kyle MacLachlan was busy, either that or he could smell the corpse of Laura Palmer on the script. Deep six this one. Some secrets are best kept forever.
