Jane Seeks EVIL

The Weinstein Co. has picked up EVILSEEK for Thomas Jane to star in.

The Wayne Kramer script centers on a cop so demoralized by the handiwork of a serial killer that he commits suicide. Satan uses the cop's body as a vessel, inheriting a disgruntled ex-wife, a promiscuous 15-year-old daughter, a lesbian partner and some of the cop's dogged determination to catch the killer.

Kramer will also direct and produce.

Ummm, is this a thriller or a dark comedy? It sounds like a twisted take on Face/Off. Whatever, this sounds like something new. I'll be there to see it.

I saw the word Lesbian!!!! Maybe we could get Keira knghtly or Jamie Pressly, hey Jessica Alba (or Biel) for that partner. Maybe Jessica Simpson, Scarlett Johanson or Charlize Theron. Then she is going to need a girlfriend.

Is Thomas Jane looking to be king of the "B" movies or what? I like the guy and think he's a decent actor but he keeps taking crap roles like Punisher and now this steaming pile. I think he need Ari Gold.

Um, why would Satan care? I think the Prince of Darkness would hail and give kudos to a serial killer who is causing that much mischief and mayhem.

Incidentally, I thought "Punisher" was a very good movie about revenge. Also good to see the hero of the movie get the crap beat out of him, rather than not take a scratch like some Arnold and Sylvester movies I can name.

I agree with Spiderkeg, I enjoyed the Punisher. I think this has some potential. Just a thought though, anyone else think that Jane would make a good Solid Snake?

Personally I thought the Best revenge movie was Mad Max, even only if he took that last 15 minutes to get the revenge, it was still a great classic.
