I loved the movie, too, and will definitely be buying it.
Special features sound a little thin, though. I was hoping there would be Slusho and Tagruato stuff on the disc.
Also, the DVD front cover makes me sad. I HATE when they put review quotes on there. It takes away from the great cover art. And I simply can't believe it has an effect on how well a movie sells.
No Zod, No Constantine and No FF 3 - Mar 28, 2008 - 09:53am
These comments make me very happy, on the whole. I really thought I was nearly alone in my love for Constantine. (Just watched it again last night, in fact.) I thought Keanu did a great job. Might be a little hard to sell him to the general public as suddenly British in a sequel. If they decided to try, I like the Marsters suggestion, as well as bigthor's Daniel Craig idea.
I love FF 1 & 2 -- they're fun, and that's all I wanted from them. I hope they do more, and that Evans and Chiklis stay.
I would be OK with Zod in the next Supes if done right. But for the movie to be done right, I think there'd have to be a recast of both Superman and Lois, and -- as repeatedly stated -- more action.
Justice League Mortal is the dumbest-sounding title ever. WB needs to get its collective head out of its collective arse on DC movies.
Three More Join Whedon's DOLLHOUSE - Mar 27, 2008 - 09:14am
I'll be on the couch on premiere night solely because of Whedon.
I find Eliza Dushku very annoying, and -- like Merin -- Fox being involved has me worried. Maybe it'll show on another network, with Fox just producing.
