New Set Videos Online for TRANSFORMERS 2 - Aug 28, 2008 - 10:05pm
You guys make like the designs for the Bay Formers but I tell you I'd rather have the boxy Transformers hands down any day!!! Bay Transformers have so many moving parts that its any wonder one punch or a gun shot doesn't rip them apart at the seems. If there was a contest between Optimus Prime G1 vs Bay's Prime, no contest G1 Prime would rip Bays Prime a new Gas Pipe. I mean Megatron kicked his ass for god sakes. That in itself isn't the Prime I knew. The same with all the rest of them. Blocky is good, A million moving parts is bad. It was a good movie in itself but like I say it doesnt have the look, feel or Heart of what I grew up with.
New Set Videos Online for TRANSFORMERS 2 - Aug 28, 2008 - 01:34pm
I look at Arcee and I say to myself, man this does not look like Transformers! This is totally Bionicle!!! Nothing like it. Megatron looked like techno organic Turd. The special effects and the designs for the Transformers are nice for what it is but, to me they don't have the look, feel or heart as what I grew up with.
EUREKA: I Do Over - Aug 22, 2008 - 12:21am
Good Episode solid B- I dont ever have a problem when shows do the groundhog day thing (Love that movie by the way). I liked it this Episode and totally loved it when the Tv Series Supernatural did it in the Hilarious Episode: Mystery Spot. I thought it was cool when SG1 did it too. So all in all these shows always tend to carry it out in their own style. No Gripes here, keep up the good work Eureka.
WATCHMEN Lawsuit Approved for Fox - Aug 19, 2008 - 04:21pm
See this sh&t this is the kinda thing I hate. When you start distributing rights all over the F#$kin place and to everyone, all it takes is one person to screw you over!!! F#$k Fox!!! why the F#$k is it that whenever a film goes into production and rumor gets out that they dont do a damn thing to stop it until the final time it's to be seen in theatres?
I can just see those executive F$%ks right now sitting at their tables thinking lets not do a thing right now, lets wait till the movies made, lots of man hours, money invested, blood sweat and tears and then when the fans are so enthused for them movie, well come out and f#$k em like we like to do!!!
Fox makes great movies but when they do Sh$t like this makes you wanna take those 21st Century search lights shine right through their ears and yell out helloooo hellooo Hellloooo (echo) because nothing seems to f%^kin be there!!!
A CANDYMAN Remake in The Works? - Aug 16, 2008 - 09:27am

DVD Review of Dark City (Director's Cut) - Aug 11, 2008 - 11:43am
I did like this film. for those into comic book, at the time I thought he would have been perfect for the role of The Beyonder from the Secret Wars comic books. Dont you agree?
Marks Updates on HACK/SLASH and STREET FIGHTER - Aug 11, 2008 - 11:41am
The nerve of them calling this Street Fighter!!! They should call this the Legend of Chun Li, period! As a character which is apart of a bigger cast she is liked by fans. When you take out the entire Cast you have Sh%t at best! Not even a freakin cameo from Ken or Ryu. These two made the name what it is! F*** you people for making this movie!!!
More GATCHAMAN Screenshots Online - Aug 09, 2008 - 08:08pm
Im confused too. Is this CGI like in that picture with the dude next to the car? I was hoping this was live action! I'm not to crazy about the CGI stuff. Final Fantasy was okay, it had its moments when things looked real enough. Same thing with upcoming Resident Evil CGI movie. Certain things will look real enough but I'll pass it up from the theatres and wait till it comes on DVD.
DVD Shopping Bag: DVD Maniac Worthy? Almost - Jul 29, 2008 - 12:08am
Wow thanks for the Spoiler warning. I havent seen the movie yet and it seems you managed to tell pretty much the whole damn story in about one sentence.
Keitel Leads Department in LIFE ON MARS - Jul 26, 2008 - 09:18pm
Ah piece of crap!!! I was taking the title of the show literally. Now that I know what its about I wont be giving this a second thought. Crappppp!!!
Mumbling Kitsune: A Very Animated Batman - Jul 21, 2008 - 05:57pm
Batman: The Animated Series was pure awesome, genius, thrilling, exciting, Dark need I say more?
New Prod. Photos for CRANK 2 - Jul 21, 2008 - 05:55pm
Wow all of sudden this turned from an okay movie to Sin City of all sudden. I dont know if this drug is real or not but I take it that if he has like this indestructible Heart then lets think about all the other people that were given the drug to be put to death. I take it he must be a rare case? boo hoo. Nah I'll pass.
Book Buzz: Star Wars: Back to Animation - Jul 21, 2008 - 05:45pm
Nah, I didnt care for the original Clone Wars 2 second animation from cartoon Network. It was utter crap. This looks so so. Truthfully I wouldnt have minded if they did it like disney style animation. That would have been awesome. Why you ask? Realism. You know Disney movies, they add a certain realism to their characters and that would have been seriously awesome. Alas we go the cut and paste south park version hahahaha.
As for the Clone Wars movie animation coming up I'll probably take my Nephew to go see it. I wouldnt dare pay to see it for myself. Ive given way too much to Lucas already!
Personally, I've said it a million times before and I'll say it once again. This was a waste of time. I'm already passed the Clone Wars Trilogy. I'd rather Lucas had started writing and preparing CGI for Episodes 7,8,9. As for Clone Wars, we know the outcome! why bother showing more? Yeah yeah we didnt ge to see Asajj Ventress and maybe some other characters but oh well we can read that in books. Especially since this might not even be Movie Cannon. The Bantha's being milked till it cant give no more.
I say kill the Clone Wars bring on the Sequels!
And The New T-800 TERMINATOR Is...? - Jul 20, 2008 - 11:11pm
Am I the only one that is thinking that maybe he's not a Terminator Model but the real live Flesh and blood person that was the precursor to Arnold's T-800 Model? Perhaps he was captured and copied during the resistance but was once a good guy! I dont follow the Terminator comic books or anything in case this is canon as far as the comic story lines are concerned!
Why the Dark Knight Owes Adam West - Jul 17, 2008 - 10:14am
Dont be so hard on Adam West hes just an Actor, he gets his script like everyone else. Back then they could have easily made him a darker character but you forget this was for kids and also back then it was a different time. Think censorship!!!
Today things are darker hence the character is darker. If you want to make comparisons just open up a earlier Batman or Detective Comics issue and compare it to today's variety.
Mumbling Kitsune: Death Note: Two Endings - Jul 13, 2008 - 08:16am
The show was great, Ive never watched a show quite like this! Not alot of action just manipulation and misdirection and alot of talking. Never the less it was brilliant!
I wonder what happened to Misa at the end? There's alot of speculation because not alot of info is show in the Anime or the Manga. Still, good show. Even the Opening theme Music totally kicked ass.
First Trailer for Sci-Fi OUTLANDER Online - Jul 12, 2008 - 09:43am
I already have a problem or maybe a possible gripe! The dude gets captured, interrogated, the works right? My question is if hes got the technology and the weapons why the F did he take his Armor off?
Also all the Scifi stuff like his origin story will probably the first 10 minutes of the movie everything else will be Viking Story plus the Alien. I'll wait for another trailer to make a better judgment.
Top Maniacal News: Gort Destruction, Mummy Mum and Iron Holmes - Jul 11, 2008 - 07:51am
Yes please, more Alien Films. Atleast theres some continuity!!! Aliens 4 wasnt as dissapointing as 3 for the simple fact of killing Newt and Hicks. The sheer stupidity of that decision is beyond me. Alien Vs Predator series were okay AVP2 shouldnt even have happened. Remember no people knew of Aliens until Ripley's Time. Sigh. As for Aliens 5 I've alway's liked Ripely but maybe she needs to close her story in this one. Thing is it doesnt have to be with her death! I hope that they take that into consideration because it seems all these writers think that the best way to close of the story of a character is just to kill them. This is also despite how much fans like them to begin with, but they dont to take that into consideration.
At this point I dont really care to see another AVP film. I wouldnt mind if they decided to just go back to the old formula and kill humans for a while like before. They say the next film is to be done away from earth in Space (maybe a Spacestation) or another planet. They should have done that in the first place! I wouldnt mind seeing something from the comics like Alien: Genocide or Aliens Earth War, because it would make SENSE IN RIPLEY'S TIME!!! as apposed to filmakers breaking continuity and introducing the Alien earlier. Sigh. Tssk Tssk.
I just wish Ridley Scott would come back to this. Bring back the Horror and thrill that was Alien to the Franchise.
Top Maniacal Rumors: Leo America, Knight Time & Punisher Hex! - Jun 21, 2008 - 09:04am
Are you guys on crack. DiCaprio doesnt have the shape, build or face for the role of Captain America. Same for Brad Pitt too. There are more guys that look like Captain America at Universal Studios than these Guys. Pitt would be good for Thor But he either needs to bulk up or get those ripped fake muscles. Guys like Chris Jericho or John Cena fit the bill (dont hold it againt me because I dont watch wrestling!!!) more than these guys. Acting on the other hand? like I said I dont watch wrestling but the Rock got better right???.
I still say for Thor we need an unknown. Freakin go to Norway or Sweden or Iceland to find the Real Thor. He must have an accent!!! please. I'm sure there are Plenty of dudes out there who lift weights and can speak english.
As for more BSG I look forward to it.
Robotech, looks like they have an awesome writer on their hands. Kasdan will make us proud.
Spike Lee Leading Time TRAVELER - Jun 18, 2008 - 09:42pm
Sorry to say but I'm sure hes gonna make a fat mistake when it comes to explaining time travel. Most directors, writers don't clearly think things thru. Recent Ex. TV adaption of Andromeda Strain. This subject is clearly over their heads except for a select few that I can think of.
First Trailer for Anderson's DEATH RACE - Jun 13, 2008 - 09:37pm
Ohh man I hate to sound predictable but from what I get from the trailer is this. He gets his Revenge he goes head to head with the black dude near the End. I cant say who wins but do you really care? we know pretty easily most if not all these dudes buy the farm. I think the only thing going for it is how they die!
Ken and Ryu Missing From STREET FIGHTER - Jun 12, 2008 - 08:17pm
Pure and utter crap. The whole great thing about the Street Fighter or any other Anime is that we are treated to a type of origin but not the full story. We usually get more back story later on in the series or what have you depending on the Franchise. Chun-Li is popular but is she popular enough to star in her own movie? without Ken and Ryu? I think not! I would have been happy with just ten minutes of Ryu & Ken screen time, atleast. Alas, we wont even get this. I'll pass on this one!
Platinum Planning Chupacabra ALIENS - Jun 06, 2008 - 06:17pm
That would be funny. Chupacabra Vs Aliens. He would stalk them and everytime he went to suck there blood he get a mouth full of acid, lol. Eventually his lower jaw just melts away and death is swift, the end. Atleast in that movie you would get a decent result to who wins!
Fox Announces Premiere Dates for Fall - Jun 06, 2008 - 06:15pm
Yes to The Sarah Connor Chronicles, I'm glad they didnt cancel. It's round 2, baby. Maybe well see a little John and Cameron Action!!! lol. Plus that Shirley Manson Babe From Garbage, that might be a bonus. Well see.
Zetumer Ready to Pen Herbert's DUNE - Jun 06, 2008 - 06:08pm
Why? Why? Why? how many adaptions are they going to make? I havent heard any fan base wanting to see these being remade! If anything dont the Books continue the story. Why cant the just work on those?
TV Review: THE ANDROMEDA STRAIN: PART II - Jun 05, 2008 - 08:45pm
There’s a bunch of major mistakes with that theory. Lets say they found the cure in the future for whatever they created (saying that this is man made to begin with) why bother sending it to the past in the first place? I'll tell you why, and they did explain it in the series. They sent it to the past because there was a possibly they DIDN'T have the Cure. Lets say for instance that 50% of the population died before the cure was found and or they eventually cured it. Then they decided to send it to the past with information on a cure and the means to prevent that 50% from dying. This is already a Paradox! You know why? Because by sending it into the Past they would have killed a whole town which in reality would have been the descendants of many of those people in the future. So you are essentially erasing people from ever existing. Not too smart!!! Further, by keeping the Virus in the station and not taking action to inform anyone other than the High Big wigs in the Government what’s gonna happen is that time will pass and nothing will be done about it. So what’s happens is, in the future the Person will develop the Virus again as intended the first time and the outbreak will happen again. This is my Loop theory.
Another note: I have a few theories (Including the Alien one) but as I describe in the previous post here goes. This is minus the Alien theory, which can easily fit into he equation as well.
1.Lets say in 2545 there is a Virus created by a man or woman (who knows right!) This Virus killed a great deal of the population. Right. No reason to send it to the past if it was contained to begin with so we can be sure of that theory. Lets say like above that 50% of the population was killed off. Whether they cured it or not is Irrelevant.
2.They found it a risk but an acceptable one to send into the past. This has the potential to not only kill everyone but what we know did happen was they effectively killed off people in our time line (That town) that will never exist in the future.
3. My theory is this. If you’re in the future and the Virus just started out in the future, when you send it to the past things change from then on. Meaning, when they sent the Virus to the past the first time, they had instructions for the Cure of the Virus. What they didn’t have was the Containment number where the Government put the Virus within the Space Station. My thought about this is that its irrelevant to even mention the Station having the Virus, why? Because the Virus must have an origin!!! The Virus wasn’t created in the Station it was created on Earth. Why do you say that, you must thinking! Lets think back to the point of them sending it in the first place, to find a Cure for something that Devasted them in the Future. Having the Virus in the Station is just that. It stays there and nothing is done with it. Therefore the Virus will be created again and sent again.
4. Now lets continue. Lets say the Virus stays on the Station to they Year 2545. In this year the Virus is created on Earth and all things happen again. The part where the Virus in the Station at this point becomes irrelevant all over again. Why? because the Virus Is on Earth too. What I’m saying is. The Virus on the Space Station is there but just sitting, collecting dust. The Virus being made by a person is just created and devastating everyone. You see my point!!! Telling them about this Stations Virus makes no sense and no point.
5. Why were they so cryptic? Why not just say, the Government has it to begin with. All that hoopla but the point is the containment code for the Virus container aboard the Space Station makes no sense whatsoever.
6.the best way for the people in the future to help themselves and stop the time loop is to do this. Send the Virus to the Past with the Cure instruction as they’d done. But tell them who made the Virus, how to stop them, when it was conceived, all that to prevent this from happening in the future. This way when it is time for that person to create the Virus, lets say this person is stopped or assassinated what happens?
1. The people in the future are saved from never getting the outbreak.
2. There will never be a need to send it into the past, hence saving everyone in that town. Everyone lives happily….er ... Ever after.
The End
Attack of the Harvard ZOMBIES? - Jun 04, 2008 - 11:42am
Sounds interesting. Smart Zombies for a change. Still I'll wait for this on cable.
Ridley Scott Traveling Back to Sci-Fi? - Jun 04, 2008 - 11:38am
Finally we can get some good Scifi story arcs going. Welcome back Ridley. If only you bring the S in Scary and make another Alien film without the Predator. Make the Gestation period of the facehugger back to what it used to be. Best of all I know you'll keep continuity. Even though at this point all that is out the window. Still I believe you can salvage the plot pieces and make something actually decent.
Bryce Howard Taking Over in TERMINATOR Trilogy - Jun 02, 2008 - 03:51pm
I was reading the above Plot on this Marcus character as to whether he was from the future or the past. For some reason the only thing that popped into my head was the famous line in Return of the Jedi by the mighty Admiral Ackbar. "Its a Trap!!!"
New International Poster for HELLBOY II - May 31, 2008 - 12:21am
Yeah it looks like a piss poor poster in my regard. No passion like she wants him only thats shes.....with him. Ugh. Maybe she has something else on the side! She needs a pose that says look at me I'm hot sweaty and just hot.
Did I mention Hot and Sweaty?
NINJA ASSASSIN Begins Production for McTeigue - May 31, 2008 - 12:18am
I totally love Ninjas. What movie would be better without a ninja?
Lets take Transformers the movie. If a Ninja came out and kicked Shia that would have been awesome. Lord of the Rings. If there would have been a Ninja cameo as the forces clashed that would have risen the ratings to super high profits. The Ring I & II. If a Ninja came out and did battle but could not kill the little Dark haired creepy girl it still would have been cool. He would have thrown a smoke bomb and gotten away, easy!!!
Indian Jones and the Crystal Skull. If a Ninja came out while they were in the Jungle even as a cameo so that we knew they were there, it would have been fantastic. Batman the Dark Knight.... Need I say more. Ninjaaaas. Hell if there was a Ninja on every set for every film being made there wouldnt be a need for Security. They'd be cut in fifteen pieces long before they can go up to the Director as ask for their autograph. My point is Hire a Ninja you wont be disappointed.
TV Review: THE ANDROMEDA STRAIN: PART II - May 29, 2008 - 03:29pm
Didn't everyone notice the Time Loop factor in all of this?
I’m not a mathematician but to me this would be the second time that the People from the Future sent the Virus to the past. Think about it. There was no way that they could have known the containment code for storage the first time they sent the virus. Only the second time they sent it could they have known, because the Virus will eventually break out yet again. But there is a problem with this theory. It says to me that it will break out again and the guys from the future are warning where it’s coming from (specifically the storage casing it was placed in at the Space Station). This makes no sense because…
In the end the Virus must still have to have an Origin.
It is even a moot point to even tell the Audience that it is in the containment Area aboard the Space Station because in the Future the Virus will still...
A. Be created in a Lab by someone or a Group
B. It is sent to Earth from an Invading Species bent on Destroying Humans and all life.
What I’m stating is, the Virus Will break out regardless of it being on the Space Station at the time in the Future. I thought at first that Dr. Charlene Barton would be the deciding factor in preventing the Virus but this isn’t so.
These series of events will happen again and again unless there is some divergence in time preventing this from recurring.
As it stands, and I didn’t read the book or if it has a sequel but to me this is just going to loop over and over again.
The people in the Future will have to tell those in the past who will create the Virus or if Aliens created it and to tell them how to stop it in the Future. I think from the moment they are stopped in the future then the past as well as the Future (Present) will be saved. This might be the only way of stopping the Paradox.
On another note:
I was wondering did Dr. Tsi Chou really have to immerse his whole body in the Coolant to get to the thumb? To me I think he could have just reached over with just a little effort. Also why so Cryptic from the future if they knew the organization would take it yet again. Kinda lame not to tell them, for so much trouble! Also does it take so much code to make a rotating insignia? It would have saved them alot of trouble and encoding if they just made a static jpeg, lol. This way they would have had more room for actual text.
Singer Shirley Manson Joins SARAH CONNOR - May 29, 2008 - 02:51pm
Holy cow, could it be? Another Female Terminator/CEO? Could we be getting some nasty greasy Cyberdyne hotty cat fights going on. If so you can bet I'll have to break out the Terminator 3D glasses from the old Universal Studios Terminator Ride. Wouldn't miss this for the World. If she is just a CEO I'm okay with this too. Atleast this is confirmation for me that the show isnt cancelled. Went to the official site and they didnt say crap otherwise.
Universal and Platinum Dunes Go OUIJA - May 29, 2008 - 05:58am
Seriously, Ouija Boards are not things to be messed with, even for movies. You might find that Set accidents are not really accidents!!!
Willem Dafoe Joins Bloody CIRQUE - May 28, 2008 - 08:20pm
True but William Dafoe is in it!!! As long as they don't make him a Nosferatu like last time I'll be okay with it. Still Nothing new here.

Starship Troopers - Great special effects with acting like pure cheese scratched right off the grater.
New Photos for DRAGONBALL Cast - May 26, 2008 - 01:08am
I dont know. It doesnt look radical enough!!! He looks like any dude that grew up on Earth to me, with powers of course. The Hair totally not working for me, its not tall enough not dark enough. He's not Built like a Saiyan or rather Saiyajin if you prefer. You know what I'm Saiyan?
New TERMINTOR Blog Launched with Concept Art - May 25, 2008 - 01:38am
I'm all for having more Terminator movies. I may not have confidense in McChicken but if it does fail maybe they will replace the director and not look back at such failure. Still, even though he is to Direct you have a good cast, that says something. The CGI will be awesome, you can't screw that up!!! As for plot and Direction only time will tell. Im pissed with the Pg-13 rating but I'll be there with my Cyberyne Enhanced Popcorn and Beverage.
Penn Adapting Gibbs' LAST EQUATION - May 22, 2008 - 08:35pm
This is definitely new territory for an idea never done before. Still Its gonna probably be about a bunch of people sitting at a desk with a comp doin Math. I dont see the action potential in this. Unless they actually use the equation throughout the movie making miniature nukes to keep the bad guys off their back I dont see the potential in this other than being a Math lesson that takes 2 hrs to watch!!! Now as they mention there is a criminal in this movie I take it maybe this Equation is hidden and they are out to search for it (ala National Treasure, Indian Jones type of scenario). I'll hold off any excitement till the trailer pops up.
Metalocalypse Comic Con Exclusive - May 22, 2008 - 08:22pm

Top 10 Worst Shows That Need a Remake - May 22, 2008 - 07:59pm
Wow this brings back memories. Seen all of these shows with the exception of Misfits of Science. Probably because there was most likely something better in its time slot. Loved Airwolf, V was awesome. We hardly saw that they were reptiles (Ooops spoiler) and for some reason we were okay with it. That was the intrigue. They had us guessing for more. I remember Automan also. I Remember that it reminded me of Tron. Even Cursor was cool (Aka Bit from Tron). I remember thinking that Automans Glow was a tad too much. Looking back on it now, I still feel that way. Just now I thought it would have been cool if his eyes were the same color and glow of his suit. That would have made it 15% better in ovrerall character design.
Now that music and CGI has progressed, we wont have to hear cheesy soundtracks. As for the CGI hahaha that can still be screwed up though depending who does it. The 80's was an awesome time for T.V. shows. Ah Good times, good times. :)

TV Review of SMALLVILLE: Arctic - May 21, 2008 - 10:44pm
Agreed, this episode was way too rushed. Clark and Lex should have been given more time. This was Clark's moment to explain everything that has transpired between them. All it was, was the same old "you dont understand" routine with Clark. I was looking for Clark to get all that crap off his chest. To tell Lex off that, what he was doing was wrong (a real genuine reason). I probably would have put the Crystal sphere to destroy the fortress too, lol. The part with Chloe getting proposed to could have waited till next season. As for Brainiac this was rushed too. I was hoping that Brainiac would have fought Clark to stall while Lex made for the Fortress. Alas I can except this too, I guess. Originally I thought Braniac was inside Kara which would have made for an interesting dilema for Clark. Alas, yet again they took the quick route. This Episode does deserve a solid C+
Iron Scribes Penning HIGHLANDER Remake - May 20, 2008 - 10:19pm
Why??????? oh god Why????? They screwed up Highlander - The Source. It should have called The source of confusion!!! The first Highlander film was a decent movie, now they want to ruin this film. Lambert is already old so obviously hes not in it. Adrian Paul isnt looking any younger. Anything they do now, whether remake or not will contradict and already confused Franchise. Everything from Zeist, to who keeps getting the prize to Whatever the hell the Source seems to be! Instead of going back to the beginning try to repair whats already damaged, they want to go back to the beginning? Weve had what 6 movies (counting the Anime version), A cartoon series, a spin-off show (The Raven). After all thats been said and done this is what the producers, writers and the like sit down in their board rooms and decide. Well I'm bored lets start the F#$kin franchise all over again. This pisses me off. Make a movie that says all these movies were alternate realities. I mean they are all practically a movie onto themselves with no continuity. why not!!!
Are they gonna tell the story of Duncan Macleod, ALL OVER AGAIN! we already know just about everything there is to know. To have someone else play Connor Macleod is just an insult to Christopher Lambert. We know that he may not be the greatest actor but damnit he was the Highlander. Be creative you morons, fix the franchise follow the F#$kin rules of the Quickening and the Prize. Don't do another remake.
There should be only one!!!
Book Buzz: Paranormal Man Candy - May 20, 2008 - 03:07pm
Holy SH#t I didnt even know Paranormal Romance Novels even existed. still, theres no way I will ever read one! Unless it was Han Solo Princess leia Porn, lol.
MGM Planning New ROBOCOP & RED DAWN? - May 19, 2008 - 04:33pm
Everything After Robocop 2 has been a dissapointment. The T.V. Series totally sucked balls. He didnt even kill anybody. All I remember was that he was throwing people everywhere, on top of fruit stands and the like. I was like, where is the Robocop that said "stop or I'll shoot" and actually do it. Then after his stern warning they would shoot (like idiots that they are) and then he breaks out the gun and Blaaadda daaa blahhhddaaa daa. Dudes would be getting killed everywhere. Half of them would have powder on their nose and think they were God until they caught the bullet. Thats the Robocop I want. screw the Pg-13 crap they need to go back to their roots. Why is it when something that good has to be downgraded the next time around. For the Kiddies, awweee man give me a break? This isnt suppose to be a Kiddy movie! Bring back some rougue ED-209's man something where dying here! Just don't do that freakin humanitarian crap, lose it, cut it, throw it away. Give Robocop back his Balls I don't give a sh#t if they are cybernetic Balls just give it to him.
Laura Dern Returns for JURASSIC 4 - May 19, 2008 - 04:17pm
I wonder if they'll be evolutionarily correct and put a couple of Feathers on some of the Dinosaurs. Also we need some serious T-Rex pack killings. All out Royal Dinosaur Rumble. Forget the humans they just get in the way.
George Lucas Talks INDY 5 - May 19, 2008 - 04:11pm
If they decide to do more films, just do them back to back and end the Franchise with Dignity and honor with Harrison (Indy) as the Star. Afterward, if you want to do a spin-off with this so called Shia character then Fine, call it something else, but you have to remember that the Movie Title and the Franchise is named INDIANA JONES not Mutt Williams. Right Lucas, right? Wink, wink its called Indiana Jones get it. The movie is about a man called Indiana Jones GET IT!!!!
Have some common sense to apply the name to the character and not totally be oblivious. We need six Indy Films (Starring Indy) and end it that way damnit!!! The Movies with Shia you can call Mutt Williams and the Quest for the Golden Fliece or whatever you F#$kin wanna call it. Same Poster Art, same excellent composer (ala Williams). This is how Speilberg and Lucas go out with Indy. Then Lucas can start Frakin making Star Wars Episodes 7-9.
Drunken Vader Attacks Church Members - May 15, 2008 - 12:27am
He should have just said, "I was under the influence of the Dark side of the Force". Most likely they would have let him off the hook with a stern warning. No Disintegrations, no Force Choking, No Sabers (of any kind, if ya know what I mean. (Wink Wink). I guess the Force was not with them when he attacked. That's why it's important to not just have the Church, but you have to implement a Jedi Defense and Tactical regiment. It is key to the survival of the Jedi and it may protect you from evil Drunken Sith Lords bent on destroying you with Crutches and bad breath.
Long Live The Jedi
TV Review: SMALLVILLE - Quest - May 13, 2008 - 11:15am
Seeing Clark with the Glasses was awesome. They should have took that direction a long time ago. He should have been establishing his identity. Alas we have to deal with the terrible hand we are given. As for this episode I have to absolutely agree with the stupidity of it all. Who needs a regular GPS from Chloe when you have a Kryptonian GPS from Lex hahahahah how funny is that. Who needs to control Clark when you have so much Kryptonite around that you can just kill him. I said it many times already Kryptonite should have been rare. Even if the meteor freaks that weve seen in the series were infected by a sliver of a fragment that would have been okay but no we have freakin bolders and piles of it.
I think I officially hate this show and yet I still watch to see how things play out of having seen so many Episodes already. Other than this I would have given up on it already. It seems there are so many ways to kill a Kryptonian in this series its mind boggling. I mean WTF even his own father Jor-EL is willing to freakin hurt Clark or put him away or build something that might neutralize him. Who the F#$k does he think he is? I swear to God that If I were of Kryptonian decent I would disown the whole F@#kin Family of El or any other Kryptonian House. This is the role model of an advance Civilization? I think not. I think, no better I know Kryptonians as portrayed in this series, are morons. All of them.
Activision Announces BIG ADVENTURE for PITFALL - May 13, 2008 - 10:59am
Screw this, I thought the Atari game Pitfall sucked beyond all vacuum cleaners ability to suck, not that I use a vacuum cleaner... wait a minute where getting off topic. Anywho anything related to the Pitfall game is dead to me in my book. Playstation, Wii, whatever if they make it I will boycott it, lol. Screw this and the Alligator you jumped over.
Would Miller Do BUCK ROGERS? - May 13, 2008 - 10:54am
I would totally see this if only to just see their CGI rendition of The Earth Directorate Starfighter. Now if they are doing the classic Buck Rogers I'll have to wait and see what the trailers all about cause I'm not sure about that one. For the record, Erin Gray (Col. Wilma Deering) was totally hot. Those Bodacious... let me stop, I'm starting to drool.
I WANT TO BELIEVE Trailer - May 13, 2008 - 10:45am
This looks like it should have been a two part Episode. I DONT BELIEVE, I'll be seeing this. Yeah yeah wild goose chase. Yeah yeah they found a dead body! is it Alien related? maybe! who cares? Scully, scully, scully, Mulder, Mulder, Mulder, FBI, FBI, Madonna, Madonna. Boriiiinnnngg. Where getting table scraps! The last movie should have been the beginning to something much bigger. Instead where getting the build up again or are going in a different direction. I'll pass till it comes on Cable.
FRAGGLE ROCK Headed for Big Screen - May 13, 2008 - 10:34am
Love the show. By todays standards they or someone out there will probably try to be politically correct and say "Hey their miners doing slave labor" Where's the union when you need them? Hahahaha. Nothing like licking crystals while your building something. Its funny but I've noticed with my younger family members that Sesame Street, for instance doesnt really have as much an impact on them than it did on me as a kid. It a shame. I was totally into Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, Mr. Rogers, etc. The 80's had some great shows, Good times, good times.
TV Review: SUPERNATURAL - Time is on My Side - May 13, 2008 - 10:22am
I have to disagree about the season not being quite to expectations. What you consider Rip-offs I consider borrowing ideas. For example, the Episode "Mystery Spot" which was loosely based on groundhog day. This was an awesome funny episode that had humor and awesome death scenes of Dean. Still they made this there own. Same with Ghost Facers, yeah weve seen these reality shows done to death about ghosts in the like but you have to admit the little extras Supernatural provide that Actually entertain. As for this episode I totally wanted Bela to pay the piper not because she was innocent but because she was a pain in the ass. I was hoping for maybe one more episode for dramatic reasons. It was quick and from what I heard painful, thats okay with me.
Book Buzz: The Legacy of Star Wars Fiction - May 12, 2008 - 09:31pm
I think its crap. First he isnt gonna have any major characters, even if played by different actors. If anything only Cameo appearances. From what I've read The Jedi will have a limited presence and the story lines will focus more on the people of the series (Troopers, politicians, smugglers, Bounty Hunters). While this is all great I would have loved to see more of the remaining Jedi and Vader as an active role in the series as appose to limited and cameo appearances.
As for the Book I love them despite not being Canon. Skywalker should be way more powerful than he’s portrayed at times. Timothy Zahn is an awesome writer; I'd definitely give a thumbs up if he had any hand in the series script or a few episodes. Also For all this time and energy Lucas is wasting on making the T.V. Show and Clone Wars movie (What a waste to know filler from an already known outcome) he could have been writing and preparing the way for Episodes 7-9. Instead we are forced to feed on a cow that’s already gone dry (Don’t ask me why I used this weird sounding metaphor, it seemed the right thing to say at this time). Actors grow older and these movies already long over due seem to linger so far off that when Lucas feels ready to write, produce and direct if he’s still wants to. Mark Hamill will have done a Fan film in spite of Lucas' reserve and it will be a millions times better with advancement of technology. In the End I hope this all works out whatever direction this goes. Don't Dissapoint Lucas!!!
DRAGONBALL - Chatwin as Goku - May 12, 2008 - 08:58pm
For starters the hair is all wrong. They could have gotten this right! I'm sure its gonna get worse from here on in.
23.5 Degrees: Bloodline---The Movie - May 05, 2008 - 10:32am
What the Hell. Why is it that when I start reading this column a get the first few words then my eye naturally fly's off the page looking for some relevant information pertaining to something actually important? I saw the Bloodline Tag and came in to read something Gory and Interesting about Vampires instead I come across some Mary Magdelene/Davinci Code nonsense. I wasted 20 seconds of my life. Grrrrrr.
TERMINATOR 4 is PG-13? - May 05, 2008 - 10:27am
Give me a Frakkin break, Drokk, Bastich. This particular Terminator movie by all standards has to have an awesome body count, this alone would warrant an R rating. Even in my science fiction wisdom wouldnt let the fans down in this arena.
IRON Launches To Top With 104.2 Mil Debut - May 05, 2008 - 12:21am
Awesome movie, loved it. For those that like to leave the theatre, stay after the credits there's more scenes at the end that are relevant.
Doomsday Entering SMALLVILLE, Luthor Departs - May 03, 2008 - 03:11pm
Wait a minute, am I hearing this right? They want to put freakin Doomday on Smallville. News Flash (and not the Red Guy in the suit, hehe) CLARK (in all caps) Can't even F@#ckin fly. You means hes gonna face Someone as powerful as Doomsday in his undeveloped condition? Are these Writers, Producers ,etc flipping mad? If memory serves me even at Supes peak condition we could see what Doomsday was capable of. You saw the end result. Now If Clark aka weak not smart as we hoped Kryptonian, faces him its going to be a GUARANTEED Slaughter. Now the only way he would stand a even a remote chance is if Kara pitched in but even then. Mental note, tip, feeling, historical fact give Clark his god damn Power to fly then we can talk taking on some bigger and badder villains!!!!!!!!!
SMALLVILLE: Sleeper - Apr 27, 2008 - 09:36pm
I'm getting the impression that they are trying to kindle the fires but its still in the rubbing twigs together and getting sparks faze so far.
Also I'm starting to see that the flying issue is coming up but I have a feeling if they make him fly its gonna be idiotic and pointless in the making.
Ive always thought that he would end up flying because he would be totally pressured in doing so (ex. Saving his mom from a burning plane that kind of thing). Hint hint to the WB creators this isnt a half bad idea, wink wink you might want to use it, wink wink.
Still I hope he doesnt end up flying for some lame manner other than being pressured or thru trauma, please make him swet for it.
SUPERNATURAL: Ghostfacers - Apr 27, 2008 - 09:27pm
This was a pretty good Episode though I too was getting tired of the Ghost Facer logo being plastered all the time even in the most serious of situtations. As for Bela man I totally hope she gets hers, really.
Air Force Enlisted into TRANSFORMERS 2 - Apr 26, 2008 - 11:27am
Its funny how we might think and hope its the Aerialbots but it's probably U.S. Airforce Jets involved who knows for sure.
Remake Coming for SHORT CIRCUIT - Apr 06, 2008 - 07:21am
Why? Why? Well anyway I bet they are gonna have a whole different design in the making (Sigh). Whenever someone says remake, it usually mean we are gonna slap a whole new robot design or CGI thats apprarently different from the first. I'm sure a different voice for the character as well. Whats makes this movie different from the others oh yes we have much more violence and explosions this time around. Maybe he'll become a citizen at the end of the movie by holding a quantum lazer rifle to some officials head. Oh and they'll probably be less joking. These movies were fine as they are work on something new people I mean come ooooooon even pixar has the imagination to do it. It's called Wall•E look it up and learn where his predecessor comes from hmmm, I wonder who it might be?
Millar and Gough Exit SMALLVILLE - Apr 03, 2008 - 08:13pm
Seriously, the show started out well for the first few seasons. It was hard (for me anyway) to except all the changes like Lex being pals with Clark, among other changes to regular (Superman Movie) continuity. Still I was okay with this. What happened then was the show after establishing itself became repetitious and Stupid. Constant Kryptonite, plus the fact that Kryptonite had manage to travel all the way to earth like 30 Galaxies away as stated by Kara is still beyond my imagining. Kryptonite should have been RARE PERIOD!!! Having practically every episode with something to do with Kryptonite. Kryptonite gum, drinks, bullet, arrow, etc. This is way too much, the occasional infected person was okay but they over did it. At this point personally there is now way he can be Superman because by the time he is Superman.
1. There will be soooo much Kryptonite manufactured by whatever means Supes wouldn't stand a chance.
2. Every freaking body knows who Clark is (except Lex) Figure that one out.
3. I'm not sure he'll ever be Superman, the Dude can't fly.
This shows already breaking their own Rules. Kara supposedly didnt notice that there was Kryptonite right beside her stasis Pod. Plus what are the chances of Kryptonite landing right next to your Pod after traveling 30 galaxies away. Mind Boggling. Furthermore Kara also managed to Hit Kal-l in the presence of it as well. Another time, Clark held Blue Kryptonite in his bare hands and gets toasted by Bizzaro and not a scratch on him. Tskk Tskk. What else pissed me off was Clark asks a once Fellow Kryptonian turned human for help and doesnt bother in turn to Help him by telling him there was a Phantom with his DNA running loose in the world. I felt he was robbed of his life and family so uncessarily. It would have been more honorable to die fighting and would have easily filled two more episodes. I guess the writers dont see the potential in their own Stories, they have to feel they need to create a new one every week instead of having a bigger story arc. The overall Smallville setting was okay early on with its high school theme, crush on you, teen love angst. But it needed and still needs to evolve into the full bloom Comic fighting, bashing the villain storyline. It's about time Clark grows up a little and learns to fly in more ways than one.
ASTOUNDING WOLF-MAN #5 - Mar 27, 2008 - 04:17pm
Um, correct me if I'm wrong (me being an artist in all) but a nose like that doesnt exactly look like a Wolf's, the artist clearly forgot to do his reference research. You dont think so, Google Wolf's and you'll see the blunt difference.
Alternate Endings - Mar 25, 2008 - 08:24pm
I was wondering about that. In one of the movie trailers I remember seeing a part that was different than the theatrical release. It was at the ending (Won't spoil it for you guys though). Now it all makes sense, an alternate ending, can't wait to see it.
SMALLVILLE: Hero - Mar 22, 2008 - 12:57am
I mean theyre even starting to break their own rules. Do you guys remember the Episode when Clark fought Bizzaro. You remember the scene when Clark attempts to Hurt Bizarro with the Blue Kryptonite in his BARE HUMAN HANDS as Bizarro KNOCKS THE CRAP OUT OF HIM. The kind of punch that would probably kill any human or Kryptonian (with Blue Kryptonite in his hands)!!! and not even a trickle of blood to show for it.
P.S. I bet some of you guys are thinking maybe the Blue Kryptonite needs time to take effect, we all know from the ring that the effect is instantaneous.
BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: Season 3 - Mar 22, 2008 - 12:43am
Look at Adama in that picture, you know he really wants to look down!
SCI Channel Gets Upfront with New Shows! - Mar 22, 2008 - 12:38am
Yeah, The Lost Room really didnt appeal to me. I was like yeah yeah he gets teleported to someplace else with the magical key. Then theres the magical toothpick of doom, the hairbrush of insanity, the fork of power. I didnt think this show had a chance.
I'd rather watch the Cube in a series than The Lost Room.
SCI Channel Gets Upfront with New Shows! - Mar 21, 2008 - 10:28am
Ghost hunters International is funny show compare to the regular Ghost Hunters. Yeah they are kinda hokey, always having experiences and never having much to back them up. The Leader of Ghost Hunters International has this weird look on his face like he's disgusted or disinterested in something, I dont know what it is. I notice this and it makes me laugh sometimes. In Ghost Hunters (The regular show) my Fav episode is the one in the Light House where they see the dark shadow figure climb up 2 or 3 flights of spiral steps in like 3 seconds (In the Dark) and not set off the motion detectors at the top floor. Awesome footage. Ghost Hunters has quite a few documented EVP's and some apparitions stuff caught on camera although its not as much evidence as people would like, its more than the shows I mentioned in post #2.
SCI Channel Gets Upfront with New Shows! - Mar 21, 2008 - 12:17am
To be honest I could do without Destination Truth as well as that UFO Hunters show < (from the makers of Ghost Hunters). In comparison to Ghost Hunters (a pretty good show, minus all the sound effects) none of these shows give you any real proof of anything really. I watch Destination truth and I think wow, what a waste of money. Traveling all over the world to come up with squat. The financiers of this show will probably end up going broke. As for UFO hunters what can I say? We been at the Alien, UFO, Roswell thing back and forth and nothing really to show for it which is what I expect from the show as well. Alot of investigation, yada yada yada and nothing to show for it, no proof.
As for Galactica I'm totally looking forward to this season. In my mind I can clearly envision what I want to see as the ending of this show but the in the back of my mind something tells me I'm going to be really disappointed.
Flash Gordon was/is an okay show but man, I miss the elements from the Flash Gordon 80's movie. I was hoping they slap in some cheese in there. Even on Star Trek Voyager Tom Paris touched base in the Holodeck with some Old Serial type Adventures. I was also hoping to see some old school Rocket ships ala CGI of course but old school nonetheless. Alas, probably not gonna happen. Also I was kind of hoping they would play on Flash Gordon's Character as runner. I had my own ideas for a storyline just based on his ability as a faster runner. I mean come on; the dudes name is Flash for god's sakes show us why he earned his name. This is some of the reasons why I think this show could or could have (depending if it's cancelled) been better.
SMALLVILLE: Hero - Mar 16, 2008 - 06:15pm
This episode sucked from top to bottom. Talk about Advertising in almost ever damn scene. Oh, oh and the dumbest most idiotic source of power ever. KRYPTONITE ENHANCED GUM (Stride no less). I couldnt freakin believe my ears I was actually waiting to see if Chloe or Clark would laugh their asses off when he told her. I mean come ooooooooonnnnnn. Hahahahaha how stupid was that!!!!! I give this an F- It was pointless. I'm sure that the Stride company thought up this whole scenario to sell gum. What sell out's the CW are. Let's see, oh yeah then theres the whole rub it in Clark, I'm jealous of your powers trip (sigh). Pete being there was just filler, and pointless, I'm bored with this already. From my perspective its like Clark doesnt even want people to have powers, natural or unnatural. I remember when he was taking Kara around showing her the ropes and thinking here he is teaching her how to use her powers and yet the dude can't even fly.
And lastly all this freakin pop-up advertising is getting out of hand I cant even freakin click on a photo without something popping up. I thought Mania said they were working on IMPROVING THE SITE!!!
Christian Slater to Spy for NBC - Mar 14, 2008 - 09:58am
It would be awesome if he turned to be the dude from heathers, blowing things up but in a spyish kinda way.
Paramount Prepping New HEAVY METAL - Mar 14, 2008 - 09:51am
that picture above is kinda weird. Notice how she opens the swinging doors with her wrists. Kinda silly. In reality her thumbs would have been on the inside of the doors.
Heheheh Silly animators.
AvP Sequel Talks Continue at Fox - Mar 11, 2008 - 12:01am
I still say humans shouldn't have been in contact with Aliens until the time of Ripley (Alien), but I was mildly satisfied with the movie. My opinion this movie should have been what they intend for the third installment, Space (as in another Colony or Station).
Tron 2.0 - Mar 09, 2008 - 12:11pm
My instincts tell me it would go with the Internet. Such is the progression of the computer. Started out on Master computer and I'm sure it would progress to the Net. If not, this would be an under thought movie with no real idea's.
I dont know why these things take so long. Tron was cool back then despite limited capabilites in computer CGI technology and today with all its advancements its in development hell? They should be able to crank out two or three movies easily by now, not to mention a TV series. Hell even I can crank out some of the CGI with my limited animations skills, and not some kiddy stuff either.
Last Poster for IRON MAN - Mar 08, 2008 - 06:22pm
Nice poster, I'd appreciated it even more if there wasn't a damn ADVERTISEMENT blocking 1/4 of it!!!!
Snyder Reveals WATCHMEN Characters - Mar 06, 2008 - 04:52pm
Ive seen the comic, glanced through one once, but never read one. Don't know much of the storyline but I'll definitely go see this either way. Looks awesome.
Two Actors Out of SMALLVILLE S8 - Mar 05, 2008 - 10:01pm
Yes, YESSSS this is good news, good news ineed. The producers are starting to clean the wax from their ears. Happy happy Joy joy. Now all we need is for Clark to finally fly and we are off to a good start. Notice I didnt say "ending" for what is probably the time intended for Clark to finally Fly. Also I'm not counting the Kal-L episode as CLARK Flying.
