The first one accomplished the impossible, it made me interested in Star Trek. I look forward to the next entry.
The teaser at the end of the last one with Eva Mendes and The Rock made no sense but at the same time was super freakin awesome! I look forward to more mindless action.
I don't see how people can complain about remakes and prequels and then also complain when a director brings up an original idea. Give it a chance, you haven't even seen a trailer.
You've got to admit that Shyamalan owned with 6th Sense and Unbreakable. There's no reason he can't come back and recover from aliens/villages/chicks in water/killer plants/etc
I thought it was a seperate entity? This looks like an Alien prequel. Anyone else think that the news that it wasn't a prequel was just a false release by Scott? It gets rid of people's expecations to keep it within the franchise but imagine if you went to the movie thinking that it wasn't an alien prequel only to discover it was wouldn't it blow your mind...?
It'll be nice to see Kristen Stewart act socially awkward in a different time period.
I thought this season was great and the finale one of the better out of the four we've seen. It appears the chick who plays Tera has signed on for season 5 so unless they're playing with flashbacks we'll see that irritating, boring character again. Seriously, they made her a cage fighter AND a lesbian and still couldn't make her interesting. Let her be dead.
Too bad they took out Jesus, he was a great character since he let out his inner demon but I'm sure it'll just contribute to Lafayette being more messed up.
Jason and Jessica are a great pair and it's good to see Jason back in the middle of things. Really thought it was going to be a werepanther at his door, so that was a bit of a shocker.
Edgington is back!! While people mught complain about predictability they HAD to bring him back. He's been the best villain on the show so far.
Bill and Eric go rogue, will be interesting to see where it goes...
Sookie...meh. She's a fairy, there's only so much you can do with that.
The original was awesome and will continue to be so. With the reboot they have the opportunity to franchise it properly so they don't need to end it with him being the last of his kind and making any sequels difficult and awkward.
I agree with jmw2814, stop being so damn picky! 'the S is too big, the S is too small, it's the wrong shade of blue, his hair's too big, his eyes are the wrong color....c'mon people!' It looks sharp, he's actually in the suit, enjoy it. Don't act like you're not going to go home and pleasure yourself to the picture later...
They should just continue the established storyline by Nispel's reboot. It was a good movie and still had future potential. 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre on a Plane' for example. Or the classic 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre goes to Vegas: Leatherface finds love.'

Fun little LOTR google easter egg. Go to google maps and click 'get directions'. For your location enter 'The Shire' and for your destination 'Mordor'. Change your mode of transportation to walking and check out the little yellow box below the directions box. I like that google has a sense of humor!
