I recruit in high schools and middle schools for a post secondary digital arts school and even as low as grade 7 kids have all seen movies like '300', the Halloween remake, etc. TDK can hardly be worse than that. Children are desensitized and are often less effected by horror and violence than most adults. Plus every kid deserves the chance to see Batman kick ass.

I read the Watchmen for the first time this past week. The first third of the book was extremely bogged down due to completely necessary, but otherwise boring, exposition. The middle was much more interesting and the ending sucked. I don't know how well it'll translate to a movie as the ending (which I don't want to spoil) isn't really all that happy.

Ever seen a picture of Moore? Scary individual, talented, but scary. I wasn't a big fan of the Watchmen graphic novel though I did love the characters and will definitely check out the movie. I think Moore is just a grumpy ol' bastard.
