The last book ends on such an anti-climax that if they split it into two movies they're idiots and people will be dissapointed. Unless they tweak the story so there's some action and bloodshed to it all rather than a bunch of snarling and trying to look mean. I could see why the new character in the fourth book could cause production issues. Hell I like the books, the movies aren't bad, i'll keep watching.
Wiseguy that Clash trailer is freakin awesome! Shows the Kraken, Pegasus, everything. Looks amazing!
Sounds a lot like the Borderkind book series that began with 'Myth Hunters.' Not totally original but sounds interesting.
Too much hype, too high expectations. It'll be a feast for the eyes and lets face it, Cameron is gold. But it's not like it's the second coming or anything, I'm looking forward to Iron Man 2 way more than attack of the blue cat people.
Bring on Season 3!!!!
It was freakin awesome!! I saw it for the first time last weekend and thought it was hilarious. Harrelson was classic and all the scenes with Bill Murray were great.
Oh c'mon everyone's going to see it! They're good movies that are loyal to the books to the best of their ability. They make a ton of cash and they're entertaining. What more do you want?
It'll appeal to kids which means it'll make money. Tron isn't for kids, it's for you guys which means it'll also make money. They'll both do well for their target audiences. And Aykroyd is the man!
But they could introduce the Marie character from the books as a new character in the series. The Marie in the movies was some french hippy. The Marie in the books worked in commerce in Canada. It would work and the original series had a solid story. Although I guess the other issue is that they killed off Alex Konklin and he has a major part in the second and third books.

My dad has only one eye and so can't see 3D movies. Sucks.
