Jim Carrey looks to be aggressively lining up a number of unusual projects.
Currently, Carrey is in talks to star in USA Films' ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND, written by Charlie Kaufman (BEING JOHN MALKOVICH).
The film, which will be directed by Michel Gondry, will take place, in part, within the lead male character's mind as he attempts to forget a now dead steamy relationship.
An even more unusual project in development by Carrey's production company is a Howard Hughes bio-pic, one of many in Hollywood right now. Carrey may also star as the reclusive billionaire in the potential film. That film will be directed by Chris Nolan (MEMENTO).
As previously reported, Carrey is also in talks to star in the Depression era drama CHILDREN OF THE DUST BOWL.
But first, Carrey will star alongside Nicole Kidman in an as yet untitled supernatural comedy for helmer Gary Ross.
