Big things were happening over on the Paramount Lot a few weeks back when the CG animated feature film JIMMY NEUTRON: BOY GENIUS premiered. But first...
JIMMY NEUTRON: BOY GENIUS tells a simple story. A Boy and his robot dog battle evil, rescue his parents, save the Earth and still manage to return home to Retroville just in time for dinner. Jimmy loves inventing gadgets and armed with these cool inventions he and his buddies -- robotic dog Goddard, his best friend Carl Wheezer (Rob Paulsen) and his rival Cindy Vortex (Caroline Lawrence) -- soar to the stars and back in a series of fun adventures.
The premiere held on the Paramount Lot was also host to a carnival-like atmosphere set up for the after party where teen sensation Aaron Carter performed one of his songs from the soundtrack.
Attending the premiere were cast members: Patrick Stewart (King Goobot and Capt. Picard of STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION and the upcoming STAR TREK: NEMESIS), Rob Paulsen with wife Parrish and son Ashton, Caroline Lawrence, Mark DeCarlo (Dad/Pilot/Arena Guard) with Kenna McCabe, Martin Short (Ooblar) with son Henry and niece Lena, Jimmy Neutron (himself), Director John A. Davis, writer Steve Oedekerk and wife Tonie, composer John Debney, Bob Goen (newscaster) and son, and Megan Cavangh (Mom/Vox) and family.
Also seen entering the theater were Gena Lee Nolin with her son Spencer, Sid and Marty Kroft (H.R. PUFNSTUF) with daughter (of one of 'em) Christine, Lou Diamond Phillips (WOLF LAKE) with his daughter Grace, Jennifer Connelly and son Kai and many others.
