Alright, producer JJ Abrams has set the record straight with a bit of energetic attitude in regards to the ultra secretive 1-18-08 movie that hits theaters next year. For one, he says that the two sites ethanhaaswasright.com and ethanhaaswaswrong.com sites have nothing to do with his movie. This is curious because Paramount (who's also producing this 1-18-08 movie) had those videos pulled off youtube the past week.
Here's what JJ Abrams had to say about the upcoming movie and the online experience being circulated:
Regarding the online stuff you posted: yeah, we're doing some fun stuff on the web. But, obviously, if the movie doesn't kick some massive ASS, who gives a rat's about what's online? So as you can imagine, we're focusing mostly on THAT. For what it's worth, the only site of ours that people have even FOUND is the 1-18-08.com site. The others (like the Ethan Haas sites) have nothing to do with us.
Found? You mean there is more websites linked to the movie that are around the web still waiting to be seen? Alright, maybe I need to check out that trailer again for clues. Hah, he knows his film better kick ass too. Nice comments, JJ.
I wonder what the ethanhaaswasright site was about and what's happening on August 1st after I did those puzzles. Whatever the case, they are not linked to the movie.
