i Checked a week ago and IMDB still had the old date up. I wasn't going to post until I saw soemthing official.
I had read a few internet sites where they were all talking about this. Well now it is official. The Carrie remake/ re-imagined has moved its Spring release date to Fall of 2013. Though the time of year is more conducive for a horror film, we now have to wait.
The Plot: A sheltered high school girl (Chloë Grace Moretz) unleashes her newly developed telekinetic powers after she is pushed too far by her peers.
The film is directed by Kimberly Peirce (Boys Don’t Cry) with a screenplay by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.
The film stars Chloë Grace Moretz, Julianne Moore and Judy Greer.
Carrie now arrives in theaters October 18, 2013

you know, with all the anti-bullying initiatives, this film might actually have a relevant issue here. Yes its a remake (never saw the original btw) but might be worth a look
I read this over a week ago, seemed set in stone then with date and all.
Not exactly one of my most anticipated or heck not even plain anticipated films so I'm good with this. Will probably see it when it comes out though
