What do we think Rob? Johansson in a skin tight black cat suit! That's what I think!

BOOOOOOO!!! I like to look at ScarJo as much as the next guy, but am beginning to doubt her talent. Blunt would have been perfect.

Should have been... many another actress. Jenny Mollen anyone? Eliza Dushku? ANYONE else???

Yeah this is weird casting, I can't picture her as even remotely "tough".

Well this sucks.  I've started to think of Scarlett as the Keanu Reeves of female acting.  Don't get me wrong, she's hot.  But she's acted the same way for all of the characters I've seen.  Maybe I've missed the movies where she actually shows something different.

There were other actresses I saw mentioned for the part of Black Widow that I'd be more excited about.

Eh....I don't know about this. I'm not jumping up and down with excitement about it that's for sure. I agree Sanity, she is hot but that doesn't mean she will make a good black widow.  They could have done MUCH better and I bet they could have saved money with someone else. 

Now that you mention it Hobbs, I read in an article that she got low money to be in this flick, some guy said it was a terrible deal because it was for little money and it made her commit to the Avengers also.  If I remember where I'll shoot you the link.

I doubt she'll do much in the flick anyway.

Funny when it's a chick that seems to play the same character over and over people point fingers but nobody points fingers (outside of Keanu Reeves) at Tom Cruise, Al Pacino, Robert Deniro, etc.  Maybe even Clint Eastwood - I haven't watched a lot - okay, yeah, even Clint Eastwood, I think I have seen enough of his movies.  I think at this point before people start knocking on actors/actresses we ought to at least wait until the previews because Heath Ledger killed everybody's low expectations except the people who aren't happy about anything or pretend to be displeased.

I never really got the whole Scarlett Johnansson thing. I dont even think she's that hot. I think there are like a million other hotties way more hotter than her. I actually think she's kinda chubby and not proportional. haha.

As much as like SJ, I don't think she is right for the Black Widow.  I think she might be too short.  But I will have to admit she did rock and looked pretty hot in The Island.  So doing any movie with stunts probably wouldn't be too hard for her after being directed by Michael Bay.  Maybe it might work...just gotta have faith I guess.  Plus like someone said, ScarJo in tight black leather! HELLOOO!

What do I think? I think Hollywood should drop their "Star of the Day" attitude towards casting everything, and to pick an actress that actualy makes sense for the part. Anybody out there going EEWWW!!! she'll look hot in tight black clothing has no clue about the character and very little about Black Widows look. Black Widow is not a short rubenesque blonde. She is a slim lithe hard dark russian fighter, and an actress such as Mila Jovavich would do much more justice to the part. There are others far more fitting but whats the point if all the fanboy's care about are boobs(ever heard of porno dorks?) and studios about bankability, then all we get is safe predictable..............................................................................................................................................................
