John Colicos Dies at 71

John Colicos, best known for his recurring role on Battlestar Galactica and for his portrayal of Klingon Commander Kor on Star Trek, passed away Monday. Highlights of the 71-year-old Canadian actor's career include starring as King Lear at London's Old Vic theater at the age of 22 and appearing with Richard Burton in Anne of A Thousand Days. Colicos' family announced that a memorial service for the versatile stage and screen star will be held later this spring in Stratford, Ontario. That city is home to the world famous Stratford Shakespeare Festival where Colicos appeared as King Lear.CBC
