John Leguizamo to star in THE MINISTERS

According to Production Weekly, John Leguizamo is looking to star in an upcoming Franc. Reyes' thriller called THE MINISTERS.

The film follows a female NYPD detective whose father was murdered by a mysterious religious group thirteen years prior and had disappeared from the murder scene. She then learns that the group is active and killing again when a nervous police chief takes her off the case, she's unknowingly pulled back in as her boyfriend is a member of the disturbingly homicidal group.

Production is expected to start sometime in December in New York.
