At least they won't try to release it during the Christmas holiday. It would have been poor timiing to release a movie around that time. Remember Grindhouse opening Easter weekend?

Isn't it a bad sign for a movie to be released in January? Most movies in years past that were released in the first month of the year were total crap, so that has me a little worried about John Rambo.

Wait, so he guides the missionaries up the river, loses them, and then guides the rescue party back up the same river? Or does he guide them up, leave them, and then comes back with the rescue party? And when does he fight Apollo?

January is a bad sign for Grandpa Rambo. Now if they had released it in late March, I might be a bit more interested. I am pretty sure this movie will be a huge stinker. Plus I find the plot to be a bit insulting. I hate how Hollywood portrays Christians, but then my fellow Christians don't do a bang up job either. I don't like Christians being portrayed as weak, because I don't think we are even if we don't always resolve matters the way other folks do.

"At least they won't try to release it during the Christmas holiday."

Actually the Christmas holiday is prime theater box office revenue. Not everyone celebrates a Christian holiday. Historically, excellent revenue is made from releases on or around Christmas day.

Rambo however isn't exactly holiday subject matter.
